I went in the first week of july 2009 with my boyfriend for a relaxing holiday, but thinking there would be something to do at night (i was not expecting big clubs etc as it is a muslim country!) but the evening entertainment was pants! only one good night which was one of the reps doing his micheal jackson impression,... more

This is my second trip to the Phenicia this year! (went in March). I honestly didn't think it would be any better than my last trip, but it was the best holiday I have ever been on in my life. Went with Thomas Cook again. Gotta say, the flights were horrendous. No leg room at all and I got sat... more

Just back from a great week at the Phenicia with my sister. From the great welcome to the last morning everything was pefect! The entire staff are brilliant and really look after you. There are 2 pools as well as the beach so it didn't feel crowded at all. One of the pools has all the daytime activities, while the... more

Just returned from a wonderful week at the Phenicia. It is a fabulous hotel with the best staff I have ever come accross, everyone from the reception team to the waiters to the mattress men on the beach, every one of them made our holiday. The grounds are spotless, the bedrooms could do with an upgrade but who goes away... more

As this was my first time holidaying in Tunisia, I really didn't know what to expect. When we arrived at the airport late at night the holiday rep was very organized and helpful of getting all passengers ready to board the coach that would take us to our hotel. After arriving at the hotel, which is absolutely beautiful, the staff... more

The hotel is superb and every member of staff is so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with an enormous choice of dishes at every meal. Again the waiters were friendly ,attentive and courteous. The pools and the beach are beautiful and there are bars close to them all with willing staff there at all times. There are also... more

Flew with Thomson was a pleasant flight, arrived at Monastir, looked quite basic but we expected this in Tunisia anyway, the tour operators looked quite organised, we where on the coach in a short time, it was about 21:00 and took just over 1 hour to arrive at the Phenicia. the journey towards the hotel was a shocker, placed looked... more

Just got back from a week at the Phenicia and we had a good time. Holiday was with Thomas Cook and we flew from East Midlands Airport, flight was just over 3 hours. As long as you accept that you are just cattle to be moved from place to place the flight was OK. You can change you money in... more

The Phenicia is well-located for walking into Hammamet and a cheap taxi ride to the new Medina at Yasmine Hammamet. Reception and all staff are friendly and attentive. The whole place is sparklingly clean. The downside is the canteen! Hundreds packed into a hanger and if you don't fight back you are placed at a fixed table with another couple... more

As you arrive in the Hammamet area and see the dirty streets you think what have I let myself in for!!! Thankfully when you enter the drive of the phenicia and the coach parks outside to well maintained gardens golf greens bunkers and other putting green areas your first Impression of Tunisia changes. You then enter the wide open space... more
