A good base if you want to explore Cape Bon peninsula and Tunis. Fairly good public transports and close enough to Hammamet to go there in the evening if you want a bit of night life. not very friendly to vegetarian or people with allergies. good for a family, or if solo just to put your head down More

the hotel is clean and on the side of the town which is good if you want to be away from the buzz and still close enough to join it (a short taxi drive away, a bit longer on foot and not reccommended in daylight under scorching sun). the hotel has large dining room and if you go early-ish you... The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great, especially dinner. The indoor pool is nice and warm and the jacuzzi is hot and relaxing. Taxi from the hotel to Hammamet city center is about 3 dinars (1,5 €). Over all very peasant stay and will definitely be back. More

we went to sultan last august, also the journey to the hotel was a bit of an adventure, we were very happy to find this gem. and contrary to some other reviews complaining about the smoking ...the problem did not exist. the food was good and plenty, the wines could be better, but the general attitude from the staff was... for package tourism this hotel is what you want. It's clean with big sunny rooms, efficient room service, good buffet food, but be careful with leaving things lying around; they can be misplaced. Over all it has all that the big ones have, animation, recreation and other self indulge facilities. Speciality is a stable, the horses are very well kept! More

We stayed in the Hotel Le Sultan for just over a week from the end of October. The hotel is crescent shaped facing due south over the sea, so half the rooms face the sea and the remainder face north into some pretty gardens. The gardens at the front abut onto the sea, but the hotel’s beach is about 100... More

This was our second autumn trip to this hotel, this time for 10 days. It was our fourth trip to the Hammamet region. We went without offspring for some general r & r, which we achieved in full ! As on our previous visit, we found the hotel layout, decor, bedroom, food, service and facilities to be excellent. We particularly... More

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend in the summer (August 2011) with some friends. The aspect of the hotel its really nice. Most of it is clean, the service is ok. The main problem is that it doesn't have a private beach right in front of it. you have to walk around 60meters to get to it. You... More

We booked a week half-board on the strength of the previous reviews but unfortunately, our experience wasn't quite as good as most other peoples. The public areas of the hotel are mostly lovely but the rooms are small and shabby. Our room was never properly cleaned during our stay although the towels were changed and bed made daily. The "satellite"... More

Before I comment on our stay let me state that we try to avoid this type of hotel dedicated to all-inclusive vacationers with their usual daily animations, buffets and so on. In Hammamet the choice outside such resorts is rather limited. The hotel, not too far from Hammamet center, is clean and well kept which is a performance when most... More
