A lot of people have commented on the service, well a tip would be, learn a little French or better yet a couple of words of Arabic and you'll be spoilt rotten. After travelling a fair amount, its amazing the reaction you get, you make a little effort and they will make a big effort, also, tip, a few Dinars... more

First I should say we were there for a comfortable base for recovery from having surgery at an excellent nearby clinic. For this, it was a very good option and provided us with a practical and comfortable base. Generally speaking we considered it a good 4 star rather than 5 star, it made a very good base for a sunshine... more

I do not recommend this hotel! I stayed there for six nights for work and was told that it was a "fun beach resort." Ummm, no, it wasn't. First, it's about 30 minutes away from downtown Tunis and the old city. It's only accessible via taxi or private vehicle. Luckily, taxis are super cheap in Tunisia so you won't pay... more

We stayed here at the start and end of our month in Tunisia. We booked through Makemytrip (an Indian site) which meant, given that the £ is so good against the Rupee, that we ended up paying a third of the Hotel's listed price. The hotel is what you'd expect of the group and of a hotel in Zone Touristique.... more

Stayed here last year for a business conference, and was very pleased that it was my company paying for the stay and not me! The location of the hotel wasn't great, not as close to Tunis as I'd hoped. It was quite near the beach though, but the weather wasn't particularly good while I was there, so sunbathing was not... more

I attended a conference at the Ramada Plaza for six nights in November. The property is probably a good three stars with problematic staff and typical hassles one finds in less-traveled parts of the world. Yes, it does seem that the staff is hearing your request for the very first time ('May I get an iron and ironing board quickly?... more

This is a really beautiful property, but is spoiled by poor service. I had booked just for one night t relax before my fly to come back home. On arrival the service at the front desk was excellent and at the restaurant perfect. The food was good, both in terms of quality and variety. So was the small, but well-equipped... more

Thankfully we didn’t experience any of the problems as those encountered by the previous reviewers and would recommend a stay at the Ramada Plaza to anyone looking for good value in relaxed surroundings. The staff were courteous and helpful. Only two of the hotels four restaurants were open during our mid-October stay – the Bistro/bar which served steaks, omelettes, sandwiches... more

The scandal at this hotel RAMADA PLAZA TUNIS, personnel of the managed property can’t hold a guaranteed reservation, for honeymooners?!!! (the couple come to the hotel supposed to remain 3 nights, at the front desk they said that the hotel is full and you didn’t confirm the reservation, while the sales lady called me at 4 PM and I confirmed... more
