Dont believe the hotel photos. Its all dirty and very old. The food is digusting. Flies around, and inside the dishes. They catch the fallen fried potatoes and put them back to the dishes. The service is poor. They are slow and not friendly . Its not an option for children and disabled. Stairs and more stairs. There is not... more

Please, don't go! It's MISERABLE, old and the service poor. Also, not good for children or elder people. The worst "all inclusive" ever to be found (so, it's NOT all inclusive, although you pay for it - much like full board plus second class dinks...) Travelled a couple and children (3 and 6yo) in end August 2008 from Portugal with... more

You may be confused by the previous reviews. Some people loved the place, otheres are surprised by their reviews. Why is this? There are 2 hotels: The Miramar Djerba Palace and the Mirimar Djerba (know locally as the Petit Palais). I read the reviews of the Mirimar Djerba (Palace) and looked forward to playing tennis, sitting by one of the... more

Myself and a friend got back from a week in Djerba a week ago. After reading mixed reviews we were unsure as what to expect when we got there. The first warning sign appeared when we reached the tarmac and couldn't even get through passport control without issue. We formed a queue with everyone else to get our passport stamped... more

Having read some terrible reviews about this hotel on the website I was really concerned about staying at the Djerba Palace, but thought would give it a go as have been to Tunisia before and never had any problems. The negative comments from other reviews certainly didnt' match the reality We had a fantastic week that went all to quickly,... more

I stayed at the Miramar Djerba, April 06 with a girlfriend and our 4 kids. I found it clean , relaxing and friendly. We had a good sized room with a view of the pool and sea,( dont be shy of asking for a swap if your not happy with where they place you, I did) The pool is large as... more
