The only thing the Riveredge has is a beautiful view of Boldt Castle. We stayed at this resort last March when my husband returned from Afghanistan. We had a "winter special" and spent over $150 for a room when the whole place was empty. We woke up to a leaking ceiling (apparently snow from the roof?). The bed was comfortable,... More

In September 2010, I was in a Wedding Party that stayed at the Riveredge Hotel. The stay was nice and had no major complaints. Three Months later I was billed again for the stay with no notice of why I was being charged. when I called to see if it was a mistake, they indicated that the travel agent we... More

We regreat that your stay here at the Riverdge ended in such an unforeseen circumstance. It was a matter that was truly upsetting on both sides. We handled it the best way we could which was to contact the Brides parents. I do know that the staff that handled the phone calls were very proffesional and courteous, I was shocked... More

We have been going to the Riveredge Resort since 1980. Our kids practically grew up there on summer vacations. We have taken many friends to this beauty of a resort over the years and they too are continuing customers. They have amazing deals throughout the year and always something there for everyone. Great ambiance no matter what time of year.... More

Let me first start out saying that I work in the customer service industry and have done so for nine years, so I know how a hotel and restaurant staff treat guests. I recently stayed here and we were there for a military couples retreat! We were told that the function would include breakfast, lunch and dinners. The front desk... More

We recently stayed here during a company function. We of course researched the hotel online prior and their pictures make it look luxurious.... however, when we got to the rooms, that was another story. I totally understand that it is under renovations... so i won't nit pick on that. What I WILL mention was the service in the hotel restaurant.... More

Spent the first weekend in November 2011 in this hotel. Rates were drastically reduced. Room was very nice with a balcony - with a view of Boldt Castle. This time of year the town is very quiet and alot of restaurants are closed. The only problem was the hotel was filled due to a military function, but their dining room... More

We stayed here for just one night, sad to say, after checking out early from our first location....no, don't even ask! We we thrilled to find that Riveredge had a channel facing room. The Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay, NY is a hotel with quite a history...not unusual for many places in this little resort town. It is, without question, the biggest hotel in town, and it's been "the" place to go for the privileged class for years...I've seen 100-foot yachts with Brazilian flags docked at the piers. When you enter the lobby,... More
