If you stay at the Riveredge, just be cautious that you are paying for the view. We stayed in room 329 and had a view of Uncle Sam's docks. The view is very nice, but we thought it was way overpriced. We paid $185 a night and stayed two nights. We went for our 2 year anniversary, so we were... more

It was our first time with our two children. The weather was a little chilly. The indoor pool is amazing. I checked around and could not find a hotel with an indoor pool. The dinner was amazing. The food was excellent and the view - oh my god..... The staff was very friendly and helpful. It looks like they are... more

First off let me say that I have not stayed at the Riveredge. I just called to inquire about rates and availability and the reservation clerk asked me how many would be in the party. I informed her that it would be my wife, myself, and my 11 year old daughter. She then told me there would be an extra... more

Just got back from a horrible stay at the Riveredge Hotel (shouldnt be classified as a resort). We have stayed there before and have had mildly better experiences, but this time is the last time. The customer service in this place is natoriously bad. The front counter has some of the worst employees I have had to deal with. When... more

I have stayed at the Riveredge Resort many times over the years and my last experience was "The Best". When I walked in the doors is was apparent that many new updates have been done. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and cozy as always. I have always found the Riveredge to be the best place... more

Loved the Riveredge Resort so much, that we returned the very next weekend with the children! Excellent view of the St.Lawrence Seaway system. Watched the Lakers sail by from the comforts of our balcony. The loft rooms are very comfy, and I did not feel as though the hotel was outdated by any means. If you have never been to... more

My wife and I traveled to Alexandria Bay in mid September during mid week without hotel reservations. Came across Riveredge while walking through town. Captain Thomsons Resort was booked with tour groups. Hotel options in Alexandria Bay are somewhat limited and most of the hotels are older. My wife and I were very happy with our stay at Riveredge. We... more
