First I have to laugh that this website says the average price of a room is $78.00...I would love to see what that room looks like when my 150$ a night room looked like a room out of a bad movie. The smell was awful, it was as if gallons of water were poured on the floor and then the... More

I have been coming to Alexandria bay for years. We have stayed on numerous occasion at the Ledges and it is a beautiful place. The folks there are friendly and the place is clean. I don't know whats happened when these other reviewers stayed there but I have never had problems there. In the years that we have visited we... More

There were so many things that disappointed us about our stay, it’s hard to fit them all into this review. I strongly agree with the other reviews I have read on this message board that rated the hotel poorly. At the top of my list are health and safety concerns. From exposed electrical wiring in the gazebo to terrible housekeeping... More

This was the dirtiest, nastiest place I've ever stayed in. They charged me about $160.00 a night, for what I don't know. It’s not worth $30. The bathroom tube was all crusty with leftover hair from past guests. The carpet was stained, there was left over dog food on the floor from a past guest. One of the lights in... More

After a six hour car ride to Alexandria Bay I was looking foward to getting to the "Ledges Resort." While heading down the driveway I joked to my boyfriend "thank god we aren't staying there." To my dissapointed me were staying "there." Ledges is NOT a resort. It is a motel. I have stayed in much nicer motels. We paid... More

My cousin and I went to the thousand islands with our family for the 4th of July. We had a great vacation as there was lots to see and do there. We enjoyed a boat ride to the Boldt Castle and toured the beautiful castle! The fire works were done directly from this castle and that was great! We sat... More

After doing some research me and my girlfriend decided to stay at the The Ledges. Boy were we wrong. We were under the impression that it was only 5 minute walk to the strip...its about 20 minutes. There was dog hair on the comforter and on the floor. The owner was cutting the grass at 4pm on saturday well we... More

I read the reviews before picking this place to stay (early September right after Labor Day). Some said it horrible and some liked the place a lot. I looked at the reviews of the hotels and saw it had an average rating, looked like a good place to stay, just what we needed. Someplace to rest our heads (nothing fancy)... More

'Pet-friendly' and 'resort' were the buzz words that initially enticed me, and then the man on the phone promised 'a clean and comfortable room' with a continental breakfast. I can't complain about the cheap packaged pastries and won't complain about the trash and debris my son pulled out from under the dressers, but the accommodations were neither clean nor comfortable... We had the recent opportunity of staying at the Ledges For our Anniversay! Upon arrival there was a bottle of fine champagne with glasses chilling on ice in our room which impressed us! The room itself was average = the bathroom does need attention - but we felt the room was clean and sheets clean! You should be aware that... More
