I stayed at the Phuket Airport Hotel as a stopover from Chiang Rai to Patong Beach. I emailed a reservation, along with ETA and flight number, in the morning and arrived in the evening, but was unable to check my email before arriving. After getting past the irritating touts at the airport I called the hotel to ask how to... more

I had a transfer in Phuket, coming from Sydney, going to Singapore next day in the morning. After a short e-mail 2 days before my flight, Simon (very friendly owner) picked me up from the airport. We arrived at the hotel after a few minutes driving. I was hungry, thirsty, sweating like a pig from a tropic heat (it was... more

Helpful owner and very close to the airport. Thats about it. This hotel could do with a fair bit of a refurbishment, especially the cement bathrooms which are constantly wet, and it could be a fair bit cleaner. I picked up a great case of food poisoning/gastro during my 14 hours at this hotel (It was the only thing I... more

Claims of food poisoning are notoriously difficult to pinpoint down to a specific restaurant since food bugs do not always result in immediate symptoms. Our chef is trained in food hygiene procedures and reports of food poisoning are extremely unusual and are often simply due to ingesting spicy or unfamiliar foods. We have longstay (1 year) guests with us who...

The hotel is the perfect placed to stay for a clean, comfortable, no frills, low-cost, airport stop-over hotel. This hotel has free WiFi, clean/comfortable rooms with A/C, and a pool to use if you are so inclined. The food at the open air restaurant is good, the beer is cold and they even have a pool table. Very close to... more

I think that the people when they book a room in Phucket airport hotel, believe to find a nice hotel because-First: they see nice pictures by internet, -Second: for the big name ''PUCKET AIRPORT HOTEL'' -Third: for the good reviews,- Four: for the price because when i booked by internet and i payed 50 euro i was sure to choose... more

Although this guest rates our hotel and location very poorly, they provide no detail as to what exactly they were unhappy about. Without this detail, it is not possible to address their complaint. It's important to note that our hotel is close to the airport, although not under the flightpath. Most guests see this location as an advantage, not a...

Even if we spent 1 night at a hotel, remains the cleanliness the most important condition of our staying everywhere in the world. That's why we were not satisfied with the service of Phuket Airport Hotel. The sheet was simply dirty which is unacceptable. The quality/price ratio of this hotel is bad, based on our staying in Thailand. Our impression... more

I am sorry, but I simply cannot accept that the sheets were dirty, as claimed by this guest. Since we are a transit hotel, where guests stay for a single night, we change all the bedlinen every single day, including sheets and pillowcases. It is possible that there was a mark on the sheet, and we would have been happy...

I was arriving at night into Phuket airport and wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport, this hotel was ideal - 2 min drive yet you do not hear the planes. Staff were very friendly and if you needed advice or help with anything Simon the manager was very helpful. The rooms are clean and to a good standard.... more

Before me and me girlfriend arrived at Phuket Airport Hotel we had a kind of horrotrip in Thailand behind us. I had bad insuries because of a motorcycle accident and I problems with my travel insurance. At Phuket Airport Hotel we found clean nice rooms with comfortable beds and a nice athmosphere, which was unusual for a hotel near an... more

I was very dissapointed with my short stay here. My trip to Phuket involved 3 flights , a coach journey and two car journeys as well as 9 fun-filled hours at Heathrow ! So by the time I got to the hotel I was pretty desperate for a shower and a bed. The Thai lady who checked me in seemed... more

I'm sorry that this guest was unhappy with her stay at our hotel. But I do need to comment on some of her criticisms. Whether or not a guest eats in our hotel restaurant is irrelevant to the level of service that we provide. We are happy to recommend other nearby restaurants and we provide a free car-shuttle to and...
