As others have said"a great place if you have business on the marina" This hotel/resort is not on the tourist trail..other side of the Island from the beaches, still a taxi ride will get you into the thick of it if needed!. Spent two nights in a ground floor room with a great outside area to sit and watch the... More

There are so many choices in Phuket that unless you are using the marina you probably would not select this hotel. It is very convenient for the marina and they offer special prices for marina users. There are no guest elevators and guest rooms are on at least 3 floors. The restaurant tends to be very crowded at breakfast time,... More

The Chanalai Resort is a large complex built around a huge pool. My room was on the ground floor and opened up to an outside garden and the pool. The room and amenities in the room aren't great. If you need to use the internet you can either go to a bank of computers in the foyer or if you... More

Villas were pretty clean. I would definitely recommend this place for families. Though it is away from the sight-seeing points, taxis are easily available from this resort to move around. There are some tour operators nearby. We did our Phi Phi Island tour through an operator who was located next door.

Not in the best location but great if you want to visit the marina. Rooms are huge and staff very helpful. Swimming pool is excellent. Breakfast was poor but it was catering to the numerous Chinese tour groups that were there. It did the job and is not half as bad as others make out it is.

Good points is that there are a few little local restaurants to eat breakfast and dinner in the resort area. The food at the hotel/resort restaurant isn't worth looking at, although for westerners there is eggs, fruit, and bread. It's best to either eat out or go shopping at the grocery store. The rooms (condos) are clean and we get... More

Not only there is no elevator. Not only, breakfast is absolutely dreadful. But if you walk around the place, rats are so big they can help you lift your luggage. Avoid staying there. Although if you need to be in that part of Phuket there is other choice

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a conference. The one and only good thing about this hotel by some distance is its huge swimming pool – it’s set in a nice garden and you can actually get some serious lengths in which is just as well given the state of the gym! Overall however it was a disappointing... More

We turned up at the hotel wanting one night's accommodation. Reception were not helpful and said hotel was full. We booked a room straight away on Internet with no problems. Room was pleasant enough, spacious with good views over the marina and a nice selection of fruit on the table. The air conditioning was not working properly and the room... More
