We were initially shocked at the somewhat poor condition of the room and grounds. We stayed in the apartments on the marina which give our stay a very different feel to staying in a hotel. Every morning we looked out over the beautiful boats in the marina. Don't bother eating in the hotel dining room, it's like a mad house.... More

My family and I stayed in the villas neighbouring the resort and decided to have lunch at the resort on Monday afternoon. We were the only 8 in the restaurant & still had to call one of the 6 or so staff over when we needed something. The food was cold and we literally saw them unwrapping plastic wrap from... More

I have stayed at Boat Lagoon Resort many times and it suits my travel and boating plans perfectly. Like everyone else, the Chinese tourists drive me nuts but one must consider that this may well be the very first holiday a Chinese tourist has had and they possibly have no idea how to behave in a resort. One thing I... More

The resort is opn the outskirts of Phuket city. We stayed for a week in a lovely waterside villa. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Saying this the accomodation is a bit tired and is in need of refurbishment. The resort also shares amenities with a nearby package hotel, but you have to pay to use their swimming... More

Our opportunity came about with an email offering a two bedroom villa for $95 for 7 nights. Yep. Too good to be true. Nope. So I booked 3 villas and my husband, two sons, foster daughter, my best friend and her daughter came with us. The villas (or as we would call them in Australia town houses) are two storey... More

The resort is NOT on the same side of Phuket as the beaches. You need a taxi to get there. There are a few restaurants around the resort but you need to walk around and find them. No one has a map showing eateries, shops & markets of which there are very few. There is an ATM just outside the... More

I stayed here for a month or so, while the boat was out of the water. It's 'up and coming' with a lot of construction going on. Very clean and relaxed. The rooms are super clean, and the staff are friendly and willing to help. They are always willing to haggle on price, for 'walk in' bookings. If you want... More

This hotel just keeps cutting corners and is deteriorating fast! Have stayed here several times over the past five years only for business. Now they've done away with any complimentary bottled water in the rooms even though the local water is NOT drinkable, no soap bars in the bath, the wifi is rarely accessible, rooms are very outdated and not...
