Patong is the party beach of Phuket. At night the bass throbs (right through hotel walls) and during daytime walks the aggressive solicitations of vendors selling standard tourist ware (t-shirts, DVDs, hammocks) gets fast under the skin. If this isnt your thing but for some reason you, too, have to stay near this beach, then Coconut is a reasonable choice.... More

Staff extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was average , not a lot of variety, but still good.
