Hotel nicely located and close to everything. Meals were average, breakfast was very minimal and below average (only toast was edible) . Pool was nice and refreshing, a bit cool at times as not alot of sun gets to all areas. Where the pool bar is, the water is freezing as no sunlight sees that area. Pool does need to... More

This motel was great value for around $35au a night. It has a beautiful pool area with massages available throughout the day. We stayed at this motel for the last day of a two week vacation in Thailand just to do last minute shopping. As this motel is right in the middle of small shops full of souvenirs and clothing... At $45 per night per room (we had 2) for a deluxe room including breakfast, I couldn't complain. As with all things, there was good and not so good...... Clean room but bathroom shower area could do with some bleach and a scrub. Bathroom is big with a separate bathtub. Bed hard as a rock but we fixed the problem... More

Hotel was just wow , room are big and clean. Very near to patong beach, only 5 mins walk. And close to all market and restaurants. Specially the swimming pool was so clean. Staff was good. Night life around is cool.

Our family of 5 stayed at Baumanburi for 11-nights. We had 2 x deluxe rooms next door to each other. The rooms are very tired and there were a variety of problems with our rooms including air-conditioning; blocked drains; broken doors; locks that wouldn't work etc. The hotel made an effort to remedy the issues but there were continuous problems.... Very disappointing. The regular rooms were really subpar. We complained and they upgraded us and it was nicer, with a great view of the swimming pool. However, they charge $3 per day for wifi and their restaurant has no a/c. The a/c in the rooms turned off automatically when you left, and when you return, it takes hours for the... More

We recently stayed in Deluxe room 3501 from the 11th June to 21st June 2014. The room was large and clean the only positives, the room was old and out dated, the door was very difficult to lock and unlock it would take several minutes each time to do so, in the bathroom each time the toilet was flushed it... Stayed here for one week en March 2014. The hotel was quite nice and located well, right next to main road and walking distance to big shopping center and to the beach. Rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. Pool area was a little bit small and there were not enough sunbeds.

Absolutely brilliant. In particular, John at reception, Mr Bung in concierge and JJ Awis in the pool bar. A brilliant trio, excellence in customer service, they couldn't have done enough for us. We arrived at 12 midnight and our booking had not gone through, not only did they offer the same competitive rate but upgraded us to a triple deluxe... More

We booked online and just hoped for the best. After reading some of the reviews we were a bit worried but took the chance with a good price. The room, Deluxe was not ready when we arrived so at no hesitation the staff upgraded us to Grande deluxe, free, and we could go to our room 10.30am. Great service, we... More
