I was a little anxious about staying here after reading the reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised. I came to Patong to party for Songkran. Boy does Patong party. This hotel is just past Bangla Rd, the main party strip. So, if you're looking for a quiet nights sleep, bring your ear plugs. But if like me, you're part of... More

Stayed there one week in March 2015. Here is the machinegun-type review: Sevice - good, personnel - friendly, room - ok/good, balcony - no view, breakfast - very good, not crowded, pool - nice, not crowded, WiFi - ok, but not working always, location - great, sleeping - daytime good, between 11pm - 7 am not possible/earplugs 100 baht at... The Safari Beach Hotel was probably the worst hotel that I've ever stayed at. I truly believe that since I was from the United States, that they really took advantage of me. They will detain you and threaten the Thai police if you have a complaint and dispute the room charges. Upon check in, the internet / wifi signal was... More

Location is perfect, but you must take room in lower floor. Third floor is really loud, many clubs are nearby. Staff is more than nice and room was good. Shower is new. Swimming pool is ok, but closed during the night.

I've stayed in Safari Beach Hotel for 2 nites just last week. I have prepared myself for the worst because of the reviews here re noise pollution. I chose this hotel because of its location. The hotel is a two story short building without elevator (but the climb is not too bad to reach 2nd floor) The room was resort... More

Unfortunately for the nice people that work at Safari, my review is as much a review about the hotel as it is about Patong in general....they are inseparable. I was in Chalong on the other side of the island for two weeks at fitness boot camp. I came to Patong for the weekend because I heard there was some kind... More

So you can't go wrong with the location...that is unless you don't want any part of the nightlife and street walking. It can be a little load due to all the craziness of Bangla Road nearby, but the location is great for the beach and various restaurants and shops in the area. We only stayed for one night and weren't... More

We just returned from 3 weeks at this property and had a totally amazing experience. The rooms were clean, staff exceptionally friendly, and breakfast were good western food as well as traditional Thai. We were planning returning in January 2016 and to stay at this property again, but the Thai Police are causing a lot of grief for tourists with... More

the location is great for those who seek the bangla road and the patong beach but ... you will experiance the noise of Bangla road untill 3 am , and an entrance to the hotel between cars and fish restaurant and have a room which is not more than a room. the furniture are too old, and the room is... Stayed for 7 nights, after finding a good deal online. Amazing location (right by the beach, 30 sec from Bangla Road). Great staff (they will try everything to make you enjoy your stay). But you can hear the noise from all the clubs and bars in Bangla, so if you planning to go sleep at 8pm don't stay here. Otherwise... More
