So the location is really good, there are plenty of street shops along the roads. It can get a bit annoying with stall owners , always asking where we are from and if we want to rent a bike or eat at their restraurent. The beach was ok. its good to just cross over and get to the beach. There... More

Stayed in Royal Palm during a trip there with my family and I can say it was probably one of my worst hotel experience. Firstly, there were no elevators even though it is a 4-story hotel/resort. This came as an inconvenience when I had trolly-luaggages to bring up to the room. Secondly, the rooms had a terrible smell. Called the... More

Cheap hotel, nice friendly staff, good food, great location on the beach. Downside is the cleanliness of the rooms....Black mould in the bathroom..... Otherwise I would have stayed more than one night.

The location of this hotel is amazing. All you take is about 5 minutes from your room to the beach! This is the best part. The rooms also have a fairly good view and if you stick your neck out, you might actually see the beach itself. The breakfast was good with a variety of food on offer right from... More

Location is excellent on Beach Rd short walk to everything. The Property is a bit tired but for the $$ totAlly fine. My only standards in this price range are clean and odour free - which my room 309 was. Hot water was not to reliable but cool showers are no problem in this climate. Restaurant food was quite good.... More

Overall, the Seaview Suite of this hotel is recommended. It is spacious, beautifully and elegantly decorated, has seating areas, a comfortable bed, two TVs with English channels, a nice balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the seaview, nice house-brand toiletries, a tub and a separate shower, strong air-con, and a fridge. The downstairs restaurant serves fresh seafood and is... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in August '13 and found the staff to be polite and very helpful. The rooms are quite comfortable with some of the rooms recently up dated. There was a small problem with the Wi Fi in the room where it needed to be reset every so often however they have rectified this... More
