Did a walk in to The Grand Montana in Phuket. Price was ok at 1250. The hotel looked good from afar but was opposite when we arrived. Lobby looked old with all the shops closed. Everything looked dusty. The rooms were ok size but again looked old and did not look very clean. They placed us on a floor with... More

Unfortunately the building didnt live up to the pictures. Very tired and run down. very low level of hygiene standards in the dining room. dirty dishes, filthy table clothes, place mats and dirty serviettes in dirty glasses on the tables. The room was tired with cracked paint and peeling wall tiles in the bathroom. The pool area was obviously nice... More

The hotel was booked by a friend and before i went i read the reviews on the trip advisor which i found to my disgust to be completly accurate. At best its a one star hostel. Once we where checked in by the sour faced receptionist. I was greated when i entered the room by a pair of large cock... More

I stayed here from 20th-27th Feb 07 and it was terrible! My room was discusting, there was fried rice on the living room floor from the previous occupants! The decor was very dated and the whole appartment stank. The bathroom/toilet had mould in it and the the bed sheets didnt get changed all week. My view was of a rubbish... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand! I would not recommend it to anybody. This hotel is in a very, very bad state of repair. Curtains were hanging of runners, electrical lights were handing off the ceiling, the shower curtain was black with mould and the tiling in the bathroom did'nt look like it had... More

we only booked this hotel as everywhere was booked out; thankfully it was just for one night!! when we opened the door the smell nearly knocked us out. the carpet looked like it was never hoovered; the lamp shade had so many holes in it that it had no use at all. ceilings and walls were brown and badly needed... The rooms were in a very bad way and needed a complete overhaul. The staff were completely useless and unhelpful. The food was terrible and uneatable. I have never stayed in such a bad hotel in my life. Makes Faulty Towers look like a five star hotel. I seriously do not recommend that anybody stays at this hotel in such... More

This is with out a doubt the worst hotel in Phuket.I have been to Phuket 12 times staying in many great hotels. The room was scruffy and dirty. The sheets grey. The staff were OK. The absolute pits of the stay was the breakfast- for the two mornings that I did venture into the dining room chilled fried eggs were... More
