We stayed here over Christmas and new year. I cannot fault the hotel or staff. Its located right on the beach although the pool area is so luxurious we stayed there. Just returned from 14 days at this resort. Had a pool access room which was great. Clean, quite etc. housekeeping staff wonderful. That's where the service stops! Staff over all don't speak English and don't try to help. Breakfast very ordinary. Every third day we had extra options??? Wouldn't stay there again. I,m sure there are friendlier places.

This hotel is needing a facelift the rooms are slightly musty and the bathrooms are very small, you need to step into the shower over the bath, however if you stay in the newer section of the hotel it is much nicer although we did ask to upgrade we where looking at an extra $60 per night !! although I havnt stayed here in many years(5) the 3 times I did I was given excellent service every need met. rooms were nice and clean, neutral decor rooms were being done up while we were there. I would always reccomend this hotel and will be staying here again once I do go back to phuket
