Based on the fact that me and my partner stayed in October really cant complain that much, we paid hardly anything probably about $20 a night for this who can complain the rooms are clean, the patong beach is ten minutes away , in general Patong is not a great place to visit though I would always recommend payttaya over... YK offers a good location if you're interested in the real tourist side of things but in terms of luxury accommodation it definitely falls short. It's close to Bangla Rd, the markets and a short walk to the beach. However the hotel itself is a bit of a let down. Reception staff are not very helpful or friendly (unless you're... More

Yk Patong Resort is very good located hotel, very close to beach and center. In the mean time very isolated from patong noisy nights. Hotel is being renovated all rooms are clean and fresh. I stayed in october and rates were really cheap. Pool is at top of the hotel and also there is a sauna. I recommend that hotel... More

Disclaimer - Patong is basically a horrible place so this review is probably skewed, but I'll do my best. YK has some big advantages, mainly as it's on the outskirts of town. This means you can get out without getting stuck in the one way system (particularly useful if you're driving, as we were - there's also loads of on... More

Stayed there for one night whilst travelling between Koh Phi Phi and Chiang Mai. Overall I was very dissappointed with my stay. Pros - the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful (although the breakfast staff were unfriendly and rude) - relatively clean room Cons - room looked nothing like brochure photos - Wifi was patchy/slow and you... We booked her for around 5nights. The brochures were nothing like the hotel and were very misleading. The rooms are a horrible pink colour with cheap stickers on the walls. The furniture is very old and falling apart. The sheets and blankets were stained and the bathrooms had boards covering the windows with no shower curtain meaning the entire floor... More

Located on the edge of town and about a half hour walk to the beach and main road. Check in was painless and the desk manager friendly but spoke very little English. The room was spacious. Soap and shampoo was available in bathroom. There was a small tub with hand held shower head but no shower curtain. When showering, everything... More
