Phuttasa Residence is a basic hotel with a great location. Although the hotel is quite 'new', the building itself is actually quite old and has been refurbished. We booked a standard double room, which was the most basic room available and was located on the ground floor. The room was airconditioned and had a TV. There were some parts of the room which weren't very nice, e.g. a bit of mould in the bathroom and cracks in the walls/ceiling. The room also had a funny smell. The bed was quite comfortable and large.

The staff are very nice and friendly. One of the staff didn't speak very good English but he was eager to help. The free internet was also very handy. Keys had to be left at the front desk. There was no lift, which might be a problem for people on the upper floors.

Overall it was a nice stay, but next time I would probably pay more for something a bit newer and nicer. more
