If you are staying out till late night and you are not willing to stay at the hotel other than sleeping also looking for a good pool, this may well be the place for you. This is a guest friendly hotel and will not charge you extra for the guests. But the guest has to carry some sort of ID... More

Recently stayed at Amata Resort for 2 weeks in the newer building, withe the pool on the roof. Could not fault staff service, always friendly and up for a chat , Only downside was the breakfast was a little limited and repetetive. All in All , great hotel, would stay here again

I have stayed here on several occasions and have found this place to be excellent. on all occasions i have stayed in the Superior Pool View Rooms which i have found to be roomy comfortable, clean, a good balcony and a nice view of Patong (if on the upper levels). The staff are friendly and funny and nothing is too... More

I would not recommend this hotel for families and most especially for honeymooners. We have stayed here from 29 No. to 02 Dec. and have booked a Deluxe Room but instead we were given a Superior Room. I have complained about this and I was told by the receptionist that If they will move us in a Deluxe Room, we... More

My friend and I stayed at Amata for 5 nights with a pool view room (well worth the extra money). The location is really perfect. Just a few minutes to Bangala Road and the shopping mall. Main pool is nice and shaded- rooftop pool has great views and more sun if that is what you are looking for. Staff are... More

Stayed at Amata for 2 nights. Room was quiet basic, but had all the essentials. Good aircon. Bed was like sleeping on the floor. I'm positive it was just a bed base. Tv old and fuzzy, and balcony with derelict building view. When I arrived I was stuffed around a bit and moved rooms. Had to wait an extra 45... More

We stayed at the Amata for 10 nights in a deluxe room 3rd floor with a balcony. It cost us $250 each which is so cheap! The staff speak great english. The bellboys and security are hilarious and always friendly with a smile on their face. The room was quite spacious with a nifty bedside control panel which you can... More
