We were three adults and one toddler to stay two nights. It is by far the best hotel we encountered in our week long car drive through the Mae Hong Son province, at a very reasonable price (1300THB/night). We had no idea about the celebrities staying there until we saw the pictures at the reception desk. We rank it 5/5... More

This resort is really far from town. We heard about Brad & Angelina's visit to this resort, but it seems like this is the only reason why people flock to this resort. The ambiance is nice, and the resort is very big. The shuttle service is also very helpful. I wish there were more amazing things I can say about... More

My husband and I have been going to Fern Resort since 2000, and it's been a privilege watching it change and grow. The pretty garden originally planted has grown lush and gorgeous, and bungalows extend all along the rice fields. As noted by some TA reviewers, it's not for everyone. If you want abject luxury, and a fawning staff, you... More

The hotels claim to fame is that Angelina Jollie and Brad Pitt had stayed at this Eco resort, I can only presume that was many years ago. The place is in need of an entire refurb, the rooms whilst clean are way past thier sell by date, our bathroom had an ant problem to say the least. There is no... More

The location is beautiful: in the middle of nature 7 km out of town. The free shuttle bus into town comes in handy. The room was fine and the staff were nice. Nice to have a pool to cool off in May! So why only 'good'? The place needs a makeover. The room looked tired with some flaking paint etc.... More

We stayed here for one night during a tour of north Thailand. The view at sunset from the terrace was nice, but overall the resort it is not outstanding. The pool was not clean, the room is a bungalow and is quite basic. There is a minibus service to town- which is good in the evening.

The sunset from the terrace was the best part of our stay. The setting is good but needs some tidying up. The bungalows are large and clean but the bathroom was lacking. The shower curtain needed a good clean.Toiletries were one bar of soap and one small bottle of shampoo. We knew there were no tv's or fridges but you could... More

We had a amazing time at Fern Resort. We arrived late afternoon and had the perfect sunset view fromthe "rice terrace". After that we had an absolutely delicious dinner at the restourant. The villas are clean, spacious and very confortable. Next day after the included breakfast we took one of their dogs as a guide and hiked for a couple... More

Ï T Certainly one of the most beautiful and restful places in Thailand, wooden bungalows hidden among the foliage, each with a porch and an air condtioning/heating unit. Some with picnic tables outside. The rooms are spacious, clean and in relatively good repair. Go off season and you'll pay half price. The personnel is smiling and indifferent, their level of...
