The sunset from the terrace was the best part of our stay. The setting is good but needs some tidying up. The bungalows are large and clean but the bathroom was lacking. The shower curtain needed a good clean.Toiletries were one bar of soap and one small bottle of shampoo. We knew there were no tv's or fridges but you could... More

We had a amazing time at Fern Resort. We arrived late afternoon and had the perfect sunset view fromthe "rice terrace". After that we had an absolutely delicious dinner at the restourant. The villas are clean, spacious and very confortable. Next day after the included breakfast we took one of their dogs as a guide and hiked for a couple... More

Ï T Certainly one of the most beautiful and restful places in Thailand, wooden bungalows hidden among the foliage, each with a porch and an air condtioning/heating unit. Some with picnic tables outside. The rooms are spacious, clean and in relatively good repair. Go off season and you'll pay half price. The personnel is smiling and indifferent, their level of... We were fortunate to stay in bungalow 39, the one that Brad and Angelina stayed in when they visited. It was beautifully situated in the lovely grounds, looking out over rice fields to the jungle. Having said that the room was somewhat average and the bathroom area very dark. Our stay was only one night and this was a shame... More

We had a two night stay at The Fern Resort. We had been upgraded to a suite which was a pleasant surprise and all looked well. The downside to being in the forest is that nothing dries. Whilst in agreement that clean towels are not needed daily this is one time when they definitely are. 48hrs with damp towels is... More

We walked in on a Sunday and they offered us a great room at a great discount. Even at full price the place is agood value for the quality. Setting is lovely, staff is friendly and helpful. Its in the forest about 6 km south of Mae Hong Son. They have good onsite facilities and a great authentic Thai restaurant in... More

Beautiful resort within a stunning location especially at sunset with the views from the rice terrace bar. We only stayed for 2 nights and I wish it could have been longer, the nature treks are lovely and the friendly dogs from the resort showed us the way to a stunning waterfall. Good food and drink as well, I hope this... More

Lovely resort tucked in a peaceful valley with streams , paddy fields and nature walks. Clean comfortable rooms with lots of really hot water. Nice buffet breakfast. Charming staff. A great place to stay when exploring the area around Maehongson . Good enough for Brad and Angelina, good enough for me!

We loved our one night stay at the Fern Resort and wish we could have stayed longer. Our experience was enjoyable from the start, as the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful; the rest of the staff we encountered was equally nice. Our bungalow was situated along the river and was quite spacious. The highlight of the Fern Resort is... More

We stayed at this resort for 4 days, the first room we had was big and very nice to stay don't expect all the luxury you get in normal resorts but still the location makes it all good. The breakfast is simple as all over Thailand but we enjoyed the lunch and dinner at the nice located restaurant. We used... More
