This hotel is conveniently located only minutes walk from the lake and 5 minutes from the morning market, it offers parking around the back and has a restaurant on site. The breakfast wasn't anything to shout home about, the menu was a little unclear and we've definitely had better miscellaneous Thai sausages, but at the price it was absolutely fine,... More

I just returned from almost a week in Mae Hong Son and stayed at this property. I must admit, I was worried after reading some of the reviews here on TA, but was going up to help with the Toys for Thailand Small World Festival and this was the place I could get a reservation within walking distance to the... On the main road: noisy because of the traffic and music in restaurant. At the back: noisy because another restaurant with music, guests then loud staff cleaning until early morning. No sleep even with earplugs. For the rest, good location, spacious and clean room. WiFi not functioning. Nice BF included. I left the place with an big headache.

we stayed here in a large twin room facing the Main Street. The room was clean spacious and the bathroom along with the aircon all worked and made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and the general condition of the hotel is very good and car parking excellent. The hotel had a resident local band playing and we... More

I booked mid class room among 3 classes, but they prepared the superior room with the same price as mid class for me. So I could stay the best room only 1300B per night. The room was very spacious, with good quality furniture, and clean and blight enough. The location is very convenient. It is the center of the town,... More

I love this place - choose the rooms away from the traffic. So room starting with 207 to 215 onwards on the second floor are quite. Rooms on the second floor are newer. No lifts though and no tea making facilities or hair dryer. For that price, it is worth the stay. The staff are friendly though they don't speak... More

If it was possible to rate this hotel 3.5 stars I would have, as it was certainly clean and comfortable with very spacious rooms. Points taken off however, for the noise at night as there is some sort of club on the premises. We only stayed here for 1 night and it was booked through Untouched Thailand, so I'm unable... More

This room was booked for us by Untouched Thailand as part of the 7 day tour we booked with this company. We have no idea how much the room cost so we cannot say whether it is a cost effective hotel but I can say that the room was spacious, clean and had heaps of hot water. The bed was... More

I stayed there two nights and I felt it was not good value for money. The location was excellent but the rooms old and worn and I found it difficult to sleep due to music nearby at night (even with earplugs) and early workers. I'm sure the facilities would not be better than most hostels in Chiang Mai. The staff... More

I stayed here for one night in June 2013. I am glad that it was only for one night. On the positive side though, the location was good with an easy walk to the lake and the shopping areas. Also, the room was very clean and nicely presented with the towels folded up like elephants (as per the pictures on... More
