Do not stay in the "Resort" at all cost. Like a hostel. If needed stay at the main building which is reasonable. more

The hotel is not nearly as bad as I expected after reading tripadvisor reviews and some forum posts. The bungalow was rather large, furniture and bathroom fixtures admittedly somewhat tired, but nevertheless in good working condition with a possible exception of a shower hose long enough to provide a stand up shower to a midget. Date: 1/21/08 Reviewer: C. Steen Terrible hotel. No charm nor local ambiance. Could be a poor Motel 6. Very run down. Bathroom pipes leaked all over the floor. Bed damp. Room and hall smelly. We were there for New Year's Eve. Awful music with karaoke singing and amateur pre-teen dancers doing rock dancing. Most people left before midnight. Food good... more

Stayed 5 nights in resort area. Compared to Bangkok hotel at $32 per night this was $40 per night and clenliness did not compare. Room needed a good clean - dead insects and huge spider web full of insects above fridge. Hot water only tepid. Pool did not look clean to our standards. more
