We stayed here so that we could get a quick visa crossing as we needed our visa extended. This is now not possible at this crossing, you have to get a full visa which cost us £36 each. Hotel is clean, tidy but quite a long way to the centre to go to the restaurants, a good walk. They have... More

We were a walk in, no reservation. Super fast check in, the girl at the front desk was friendly. Rooms big (very big) best shower ever in Thailand! Perfect shower head and nice hot water! Beds comfortable. Wifi slow though. Breakfast was minimal. A coffee, 2 warm pieces of bread and a rolled egg? But for the price paid (700... More

The Point Villa Hotel is one street from the main street and everything is well in reach in a few minutes walk. Don't want to walk? The hotel bicycles are for free! And because it's a street away from the centre it is just wonderfully quiet. Enjoy the sound of crickets and birds, not motorbikes and cars. Really a perfect... More

Peaceful setting on edge of town, but within walking distance of night market. Clean reception and coffee shop next to separate building with rooms on two floors. Little bit of maintenance needed at the back, and as mentioned before, be careful in bathrooms on top floor if you open the window. Large bathroom with massive tiled bath, big enough for... More

Verry big rooms in new build hotel. We stayed here 3 nights Mega big Bathroom. But dont open the doors when staying on second floor. You fall down one floor because nothing behind it. Good service from reception girl. 5 min walk to town center and lake. Close to Airport but no noise problems only 4 planes come in during... More

This rather new place is a perfect choice for those who want to stay in the city but still enjoy a natural environment. Its peaceful, quiet setting, yet being located within walking distance to the centre of town, makes it very attractive. The resort provides spacious rooms with huge bathrooms and a nice little garden for a very reasonable price.... More

Family of three stayed for one night. Our intent was to find a clean, quiet hotel with just enough in the way of amenities to satisfy a one-stand night. The Point Villa provided just that. It is at the edge of town, well within walking distance of the restaurants and other attractions of Mae Hong Son, and isolated enough to... More

We arrived in Mae Hong Son during our Motobike trip in February 2013 without any reservation for a hotel. There are 2 very good resorts outside Mae Hong Son, but we don't want to travel in the night again. So we asked at a big petrol station in Mae Hong Son and got a recommendation for this hotel.....and we were... More

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. The family room is large, clean and full of light. It has all necessities included. The staff was nice to us. They even drove us to the airport. The internet was good. The breakfast is a simple american breakfast – eggs, sausages, bread, jam, coffee, juice, water. The location isn’t the best –... More

This was my second stay at the Point Villa. It is a bit off the tourist trail and outside the Mae Hong Son town center, but Mae Hong Son is pretty small and everything can be reached on foot. This time I stayed in their new wing on the far left side on the top floor. The room was ok,... More
