Gims Resort - Due to the low season during super HOT summer, the resort's restaurant is closed and they only provide homemade biscuits/ coffee/ tea for light breakfast so if you need more food then you need to go to town or else buy from 7-11.... and our resorts to town is not walking distance and the whole Mae Hong... Its peaceful, quiet setting, located at a housing area take 10-15 min to Mae Hong Son town .The resort provides spacious rooms with huge bathrooms and a nice garden for a very reasonable price. The separate bathroom , toilet and basin area is very convenient for us . They do not serve breakfast so bringing along some goodies to prepare... More

Left Gim's this morning after a lovely three nights. We so enjoyed our stay here. The villa's are beautifullly thought out with lots of nice touches, plenty of storage & surfaces to put things. Also many sitting options inside and out. Our villa looked out over fields and we enoyed watching the locals playing sport in the distance. The owner was... More

This place is an absolute gem of a find, such beautiful gardens and so peaceful. The rooms are very well thought out, 2 sides of the bungalow open up making it very airy, bthe table and chairs can either stay in side once the doors are open or you can slide them onto one of the balconies, the most comfortable deckchairs... We tend to have regular overnight stays in Mae Hong Son as a break from our lifestyke in Khun Yuam but have never stayed at Gim's until this visit. As it was a last minute booking we had the last room which was a twin as opposed to our preference of a double but that didnt detract from a really... More

I have stayed 4 nights at Gims Resort, and it's been delightful. I am very reluctant to leave but nothing good lasts forever! My little villa is private and beautifully designed, so that the outside and outside can flow: this is achieved through 2 walls having been replaced largely with 2 sets of opening doors that fold out to allow... The resort is on the outskirts of MHS, probably a 5 min drive, so you need to have your own transport to get to town. The area is quiet and residential, with a few rice fields just behind the hotel. We followed the map on the website and the signs and found it with no problem – the signs are... More

The resort is 5 minutes from the town center but the resort owners have no problem driving you too or picking you up from the town center. The owners are very nice and went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. The cottages were very nice with plenty of room. Keep in mind that this is no 5... More

Gims is out of town in a residential area but offers excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful offering lifts into town - a 5 minute drive away. We decided to hire a 125hp scooter from AJ's in town for 200 Baht per day; it was virtually brand new and was brilliant for the... More

If you have a car, Gims resort is a very good place to stay, if you can book it with discount. The distance to the city is to far to go by foot. The house and his bathroom are very clean and big. Owners are very frienly. The houses stay in a garden and every house has a terras. Coffee... More
