We've been regulars here for several years, having first visited back in 2007. Son and his family are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. Despite being relativly isolated, the resort has everything needed for a short stay - a fantastic restaurant serving delicious food and very nice naturalistic pool. There is a small shop just down... We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed every minute. Mr Son, wife and family are so friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant is so fresh and tastes wonderful. The log cabins are scattered around the complex and very hilly. They are basic but in keeping with the area and have mosquito nets over the bed. If you... More

This is not a place for ”normal tourists” - wanting many people, a lot of food, bars, music and entertainment in their holiday. This is definitely a place for Nature lovers - for people wanting to get away from the noise of the city, the suffocation of the streets with too many cars and from air-conditioned ”prison-like” rooms. If you... More

We were picked up by the owner Mr Son form the airport, easy transfer under his supervision and he very kindly carried my heavy bag up the steep slope to our room. Rest of the stay was very chilled, food good, Mr Son always happy to help us arrange days out and also transfer and ferry tickets for onwards journey.... More

It's with great disappointment that I write this review as I'd been looking forward to this stay. However, please be warned this is not an 'Eco resort', it's a health hazard! Firstly, paths and grounds are poorly maintained, steep, no lighting and basically treacherous. The path? to our 'family hut' was practically vertical with pavers that move and many that... More

After spending a few days in Patong, I definitely needed a real "vacation" from all the chaos. I was lucky to have been invited by another tourist to explore Krabi and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is in the middle of nature and you'll wake up with an amazing scenery everyday. The pool is also a cool treat! But what... More

Awesome stay! We had twin bungalows linked by a shared bathroom. Our son enjoyed a family of tokay geckos in the rafters of his bungalow - really cool! As others have written, the food was fantastic at Phanom Bencha! Family run, there's a great, relaxed vibe that makes you want to eat slowly and hang out at the restaurant. There's... More

What an amazing place. Set far in the jungle next to a national park, you are a long way from the beach crowds, but up close to nature, with karst limestone cliffs in front of your bungalow, and beautiful landscaped gardens around. Ideal for walks around. Great friendly staff and wonderful, inexpensive food in the restaurant. Would stay here again.... More

what a lovely place to stay. This is definitely the place to come if you enjoy nature up close and personal. The (semi) natural pool area is bliss - beautiful and great fun for the kids to play in and jump off the rocks. As other reviewers have said Son and his wife Choop Choop are lovely, very kind and... This place is beautiful, the owners (Son & Chup Chup) are friendly, funny, helpful and hospitable. They helped us arrange day tours, motor bike rentals and rides back and fort to the city. They really made us feel as part of the family. The food is the most delicious Thai food I have ever tasted! The place is far in... More
