A small group of us teachers stayed here during a 4 day weekend. We always look for somewhere not too expensive but not too cheap either. We stayed here during the low season so the price was lowered. But we wouldnt of paid anymore for it. Clean bed, aircon and a shower that works. These are the 3 essentials and... More

Stayed here October 2014 and it was the high light of my 3rd trip through Thailand, whilst the resort is tricky to get to, the journey there is half fun, the surroundings are beautiful and sunset view form the restaurant is amazing, the bars in ton sai are nice and chilled for those who want a few easy. drinks Tips:... The front desk staff are extremely rude and dishonest. I stayed for three nights total while on a study abroad trip with fellow students. All nights I woke to monkeys jumping on the roof and the lights flashing on and off all night. My Samsung tablet and my friend's iPad mini were left in the drawer. When we called and... More

We didn't stay. The place literally looks like a dumpsite. The guy at reception refused to show us our bungalow. He was too busy playing some game on his phone and seemed to be annoyed we showed up. "You booked for 2 nights, so now pay for it" he said. So we left.

... based on what I heard from fellow climbers. Room was clean and cleaned well daily. It was a welcome home at the end of days of hard climbing. Shower was warm. AC was cool but leaked on some days. I did have a small lizard living along the ceiling of my room. He chirped in a way that wasn't... More

I can say this hotel is the worst hotel/resort i ever stayed. Me and my friend booked there for 2 nights from 19th February to 21st February 2015 via Agoda and we made a payment online with Deluxe Villa price for high season. When we arrived there the receptionist there did not say hi or smile at all but though... More

Nothing overtly terrible with the resort, nothing truly amazing either. Location is great, easy beach access and close to the path to Railay. Also they leave a gate open in the middle of the resort so you can access the back row of restaurants and bars on tonsai instead of having to go all the way around the front of... More

A place where you can unwind and escape reality, enjoy a cocktail as the sun is setting over the bay and laugh with friends. We will continue to return to this gorgeous paradise! The scenery is breathtaking, the food is delicious & the locals are friendly & always willing to help. The 'full moon parties' provide a night of entertainment... More

My 2 girl friends and I decided to head to Railay for some rock climbing and was advised that Railay West and Tonsai is a nicer area to stay. Railay West was incredibly expensive so we settled for Tonsai. There wasn't many choices on Tonsai and this was a tad pricier at SGD278 (on agoda.com, with an extra bed added)... More

Me and my parents spent 2 nights at Tonsai Bay Resort, sharing a double villa. We had a fabulous time even though my parents (in their 50s) were probably the eldest people there! Everyone else was young, fit (mostly rock climbers and backpackers), and probably staying much longer than us :-) It felt like a small community of people looking... More
