It's rightly said that Tonsai beach isn't for everyone and stay far far far away if you're not a backpacker or a climber- this beach i'd say is mostly visited by twenty somethings but no, it's not that much of a party beach. Tonsai beach is basically a laid back, hippie style beach. The main clientele are climbers and backpackers. The beach is not a gorgeous stretch of white sand and it is very rocky when the tide is out (if you arrive at low tide you will need shoes to wade through the rocks to get from your boat to the shore... more
