We had a great stay at the Railay Bay Resort and wish we could have stayed longer. My husband and I were travelling with our adult daughter and we split our 6 nights in Krabi between Ao Nang and Railay. We would have liked to have stayed our entire time here. The location is beautiful and the Resort is stunning... more

Just come back after spending 6 nights here. We were very happy wth our choice. We used the hotel transfer service which is expensive (1200 Bhat, while if we did DIY it would have cost 500 for 2 of us) but worth it for convenience - no waiting around for boats and buses and no wading through the sea to... more

First up - this hotel has arguably the best location in Railay. It's right on the west beach, but also houses an ATM and a basic minimart, and good access to Ao Phra Nang, which is hailed by many as the best beach in Thailand. (We certainly enjoyed it.) For more info on accommodation in railay, this site seems pretty... more

Situated on a beach with stunning views, the resort is definitely not the main attraction. It's the beach and the nearby cliffs that steal the show. We were booked for a Privacy Cottage but were disappointed with the room and location once we saw it. The bathroom was pretty dated, needed a fresh coat of paint, and the door seal... more

We arrived in Railey via longtail from Aonang beach (20mins). Once hopping off the boat, the first place we came across was the Resort & Spa. It looked very nice from the outside so we decided to give it a go. They were doing a special off-season deal, 3 nights for the price of 2 so off to a great... more

This place is beautiful, and is probably the best value 'high end' option in West Railay.. Very well decked out, great pool, great value for money compared to some other options on this beach.. however, it is still SO expensive compared to other places we stayed in Thailand. We got a free upgrade due to them being over booked in... more

Two of the 3 beaches this resort is near are some the most beautiful beaches ive seen. Railay Bay Resort is mostly on the West side of Railay Beach. The west side of the beach is much nicer than the east side. The east side is a mud pit however is has a ton of bars and small food joints,... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2009 We hopped off the boat at 9pm, wandered across the beach and found the hotel no problem. The location is great and check in was efficient, if not a little unwelcoming. We had a standard room and whilst the main room was fine, the bathroom was in a bad condition, with... more

The reason I am posting this is not to review this resort's amenities or service, I wanted to warn of this resort's unscrupulous business practices and their unwillingness to stick to their own policies. We had reserved a room and had intended to stay from December 31st till January 4th 2009, but because of a family emergency we had to... more

Me and my partner arrived in Railay, with no bookings anywhere, nothing but our Lonely Planet to go by. The book said the nicest place on the island with the best beach was Railey Bay Resort, however the book was quite a bit older than I first thought, it said the most expensive room was 4,000THB (more than reasonable if... more
