The Cliff is a great place to getaway from it all. We stayed here for 7 days after a trip to Bangkok. We were really happy with the place. It was extremelly relaxing and quiet. In Chiang Mai we are staying in a 4 star 'boutique' hotel called Manathai Village, which has really highlighted the difference between what IS a luxurious boutique hotel and what is essentially a nice slightly more comfortable backpackers hotel... This must be the most unexpected hotel I have ever visited. Its unimposing entrance shrouds an idyllic oasis to which I cannot believe any other place in the whole of Ao Nang can compare to.
