Average large conference style dated hotel. Fabulous views of pool, lagoon and surrounding magical countryside near Krabi. Food average, few people staying so no atmostphere. Spa overpriced. Rooms grubby. Nice balcony. Handy shuttle bus down to Ao Nang (takes about 30 mins) where you can get a longtail boat to some of the many beautiful beaches in the area. An... more

For those going for honeymoon trips, it's recommended to inform the hotel earlier as they will decorate your room into romantic and ambience atmosphere. Breakfast are good enough. Having Dinner right in the hotel restaurant it's far better than those food served at beach side in Ao nang. food price slightly cheaper than Ao nang. excellent food to say... our... more

We were told that it was a 5 star hotel. BUT no it wasn't. The people working at the hotel couldn't speak English and spent their time sleeping on the job - therefore there was no poolside service. The breakfast and the smell of it put me off food - instant diet. It was miles from the beach and the... more

If Barbie were prostitute during the Vietnamese war, this would be where she entertained GI's. No Joke: the place actually had faded plastic purple beads across the bathroom doorway, the bed had a faux canopy made of (again faded) purple nylon netting. Even with that, the hotel room could have been salvaged and seen as a blast from the past...... more

My husband and I booked our stay at the Maritime Resort based on the pictures and star rating of this hotel... Big mistake!! The pictures are nothing like what the place actually looks like, and the service is absolutely unacceptable for what is considered a 4 star hotel. We were so disappointed that we left the next day when originally... more

We were at the Maritime Resort for New Year's Eve and a few nights following. The location of the hotel is far from any beach and requires a taxi ride to get there - which were hard to find. The hotel itself was outdated - the bathrooms and the rooms were nothing spectacular, but just okay. The thing that we... more

This hotel was a major scam. The website is beautiful, and unfortunately we based our decision on that. Turns out, the photos must have been taken years ago and present a very different picture than what we were greeted with at the hotel. It needs some major TLC - it seems it hasn't been updated, painted, repaired, etc since the... more

This is clearly a hotel in terminal decline. The grounds are lovely but other than this there is very little to recommend. Fixtures and fittings are all outdated and in varying states of disrepair – restaurant with garden furniture, old towels for pool, etc More than this is the clearly disenchanted and at times down right rude staff – something... more

We got an ok rate for this resort for 4 nights. We were upgraded from a deluxe to an adora room which was nice. The room was large and included TV, large king size bed and fridge with a balcony and view over the lake, hills and pool. The main resteraunt is good with a nice selection of western and... more

We stay only one night (in the way to Koh phi phi), but the room was very nice and clear, the breakfast was good, the service was excellent, the view was surpriser (pool, trees, rocks and lake). the only problem was the travels. we paid with no choice 350 bht from the airport to the hotel and 250 bht from... more
