This resort is not a luxury accommodation--they only have electricity from 6 PM to 6 AM, the bungalows are small but adequate, clean and functional. The restaurant serves mainly thai food, and it is Thai food. I found the management, Nick and Nong, to be very helpful, and the price was quite in line with what I could find in... More

At the end of a bumpy road, but with its own beach out front, this rather run-down resort is low-key and aging, but an escape from the crowds. Electricity and wifi variable. A long way to any where else to eat. But staff friendly, nice communal bar. Beach nearby good for walks. Room basic and showing its age. Cold shower.

My friend and I arrived at 1 AM, woke up in the morning and left immediately. The resort is in the middle of nowhere, it costs hundreds of Baht to get into town, and the resort itself is not nice enough to make us want to stay for a full day. I would recommend this place for someone looking for... More

Love this place. Needed a break from hustle and bustle of Melbourne and the staff could not do more to make me feel as if I was part of the family. Only left after a week due to prior commitments. Went out to the islands on tours arranged by the staff and had adventures which is what travel is all... More

I like quiet places beside the sea , like desert islands . J2B Bungalows , formerly known as Anderman Inn , is my favourite resort at Nopphatat Thara 18km north of Krabi town , near to Au Nang . J2B is sitiated within the national park , reached by boat across a small estuary . Today a road reaches the... More

We stayed in J2B for 3 days in January. It has prime position on a fabulous beach which fortunately has not been populated by the masses (yet). The accomodation is basic, a wooden bungalow with a bathroom attached which was nice. Some attention needs to be paid to the accommodation though, our room had planks coming loose from the floor,... A shortage of budget accommodations in Au Nan during the time of our visit led us to book J2b for three nights despite the mixed reviews we read on this site. We decided to go with an open mind and a positive attitude. Unfortunately, with just one shining exception of an English-speaking Thai woman named Kahn who was very helpful,... More

Such a shame to see so many rude, not just critical reviews. We stayed here about 2 years ago and it was lovely. It is a cheap stay, so people can't complain about mundane things like wifi (your on holiday ffs). It was a great location, great staff, awesome cat and towards the end, dogs! Everything readily available - great... More

I stayed here in February last year with my friend. We are looking to go back to Thailand and i read the most recent review and i was very sad to hear they have decided to close! This was by far the best stay we had. By reading other reviews it seems like these people do not do their homework... More
