The staff were very welcoming and as soon as we arrived apologised for the building work next door (they are expanding the premises), it wasn't a problem as they stopped around 5 pm and didn't start until 8am. Our room at the back on the ground floor was nicely decorated in blues and white and had plenty of space, with... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in December 2014, We stay for two nights first night in a Dbl air-con private b'room was really nice they have a kind of Mediterranean vibe going on, she loved it one of the nicest places we stayed while traveling. Second night in Dbl fan share b'room which was simple but again very nice... More

We've stayed here regularly since finding it back in 2007. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights, close to Krabi town, restaurants and bars, and easy to catch a bus to Ao Nang and other beaches around Krabi. The owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are basic but very affordable, and the whole place... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. Basic but pretty rooms and good food served in the cafe / restaurant. Staff friendly without being effusive and Krabi was a good place to hang around for a couple of days.

This place is totally worth the 600 baht we paid. The staff, room and guest house in general are all great. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and really helpful. We opted for the room with attached bathroom and were not disappointed. The room was big and decorated nicely with the ocean/beach theme going throughout the guest... More

The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is clean, quiet and fantastically decorated. Plus the prices are very good too. My partner and I had a room with fan and private bathroom and it is one, if not the nicest room we have ever stayed in. The shower is amazing!! We would have given... More

This was actually our first stay in a guesthouse with shared facilities. My wife is a bit picky so I had concerns, but this was the perfect "intro" to guesthouse and hostel living. We decided to get a fan room with shared bathroom for about 370 baht. The room was clean and basic and it had a high powered ground... More

Chan Cha Lay is the perfect place for backpackers! We had a fan room and shared bathroom and both were exceptionally clean. It was quiet at night but during the day it was a little noisy with the construction next door. The staff are helpful and friendly and do laundry for a good price. We never ate there (they just... My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and we couldn't recommend it more! Great value for money, beautifully decorated, clean, lovely staff! Just so impressed! We had a room upstairs so we had a cute little shared veranda with chairs to sit on an evening with a beer, inside we had French doors that opened and made the... More

I stayed here one night, the room was clean, staff was friendly enough, and i really liked the outside bathroom for some reason. I stayed in one of the back rooms, downside of this is no wifi in your room. A few things i didn't like so much was that there was no top sheet on the bed? There was... More
