We came to Ron's on a visa run. Planned to stay one night, stayed for seven weeks! Great food, cracking rooms at an amazing price and lots of chat in the bar/pool area. It's as clean as a whistle and close enough to the city on the baht bus if you fancy a look around. Why not stay here??

We stayed at MTGH in November 2014 for 4 days. This is a really great place to stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The neighborhood is safe with good options for eating and some limited shopping. Ron and Sun are tremendous hosts. The menu is simple and good. Ron keeps a library of books and DVDs for everyone’s... Traveled from Hua Hin to Khon Kaen for a few days. We were very happy with both the guesthouse and Khon Kaen itself so we extended our stay. The hotel is perfect for all walks of life. It is set in a very quiet, tranquil setting. You would not believe you are in a city. Its situated few minutes away... More

Our family had the pleasure of staying in the MaiThai guesthouse for three days. Ron and his lovely wife are the best hosts one could hope for. They really go out of their way to make sure all your needs are fullfilled. They serve a great english breakfast and Rons wife even cooked us her special ricesoup on request. The... More

I had the pleasure of staying here for a week as I was in the area for work. Ron and Sun are excellent hosts, the rooms are clean and spacious. Ron keeps the pool and gardens in superb condition. For the price it is extremely good value, it is a little bit out of town. But that being said a... More

Walked onto the courtyard of the Mai Thai and couldn't believe our eyes.. It's a hidden oasis just off a fairly busy road. We didn't even know it was there and we stayed in a guesthouse just to the side of it. It is lovely, restful and quiet. The rooms are very nice and clean. Well kept. The patrons are... More
