the hotel is situated pretty central in Khon Kaen. about 5 minutes from central plaza. don't expect much for that amount of money. but the rooms are big and clean. reception staff speaks a little English. Not many things to do in the hotel....

We stayed and Chaipat for 2 nights due to the location of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and comfortable and came with almost free (20 Baht for 2 days) wifi. Cable TV, air con and fridge in the rooms with an en suite bathroom. There is a cafe/karaoke bar downstairs but we ate at the... More

This hotel is quite the marvel - it really reflects happy go lucky Asia with its grand reception and open all hours karaoke room. The rooms are just fine - a balcony but no windows, a very comfortable bed, a television, fridge and excellent air con. The bathroom is good with hot water. At its price, this place comes highly... I have stayed here numerous times in the past 6 months (I live in Chaiyaphum). A double room costs 450 baht per night - great value. While the rooms are nothing fancy, for the price it provides you with everything you need - air con, ensuite bathroom, fridge (plus water) and the comfiest bed in town (if you exclude the... More

This Hotel is located relatively close to shopping mall, bus and train station. Staff do not speak a great deal of English but we managed to communicate and most were willing to practice their English. Room, although not large was adequate. Air conditioner worked well, plenty of hot water, bed was comfortable and I even had a small balcony. The... More

I stayed 4 nights in this very nice and comfortable hotel. Intended to stay only 2 nights in Khon Kaen, but the peaceful city fibes made me stay longer. The hotel has very nice, clean rooms, at very acceptable rates. In fact it was the best room I had in 4 weeks Thailand. Staff is friendly although not everybody speaks... More

The Chiapat was a very friendly & comfortable place where I stayed a few days (after my first night at a cheap, bare-bones & uncomfortable hostel)... It was very well located, and after my daytime walking excursions, I could easily find my way back by simply following the west sidewalk of Na Muang (a main street) until I reached a... More
