Room was OK although not amazing, cleanliness was accurate. but, big minus is the staff, varying from not smiling and a bit blunt, to a group of them laughing and making fun of guests walking by. Too bad, but I don't recommend staying here, there are enough hotels with friendly staff..........

We stayed in a 400b per night room with aircon and hot water which was good for the money. The guesthouse has a pool but be warned....it is very chlorinated! Staff lack customer service skills to the point that they seem quite rude. We hired a scooter from here for 3 days (spent one night in Sangkhlaburi) with no problems.

Love this guesthouse. It's where I stay to "splurge" when I need a break from backpacker life. The beds are very comfortable, they have A/C and wifi in every room, and a couple TV channels in English. The restaurant has excellent food, the staff is nice, pool is great, and it stays pretty quiet overnight. I've stayed in both the... More

Spent two nights here, really good location - 20 minutes walk from the bridge and 10 minutes walk from the death railway centre & cemetery. Room was clean, breakfast really good and staff were really helpful, I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night. They appear to have 3 types of rooms priced at 400, 1000 and 1300 Baht. As this was a special night for us, we chose a 1300 Baht room overlooking the river kwai. Under other circumstances, we would have probably stayed at Thai Guesthouse just up the road. The room was... This is a good option if you are looking in the Kanchanaburri, River Kwai area for something with a decent price, nice rooms and a pool! The hotel itself has a really great location with nice views of the river. The pool is really nice, clean and relaxing and the rooms were decent as well. The food at the restaurant... More

Stayed 3 nts in one of the new rooms located right in the river and it was an excellent choice. We had originally booked at the Noble Night they had stuffed up bookings and no rooms available so saw this guesthouse just next door and walked in hoping something was there. We were shown a few rooms and the 2... More

First of all the staff is not very friendly they say that they will pick you up when you stay there when you're at the station and that's not true even when you were leaving they don't want to bring you to the station to say it's a free service but its not true we stayed on the first floor... I have recently had the pleasure of travelling to Kanchanaburi for Anzac Day. There were 7 of us all together and we found this great little guesthouse Pong Phen right on the River Kwai. Great pool with rooms situated around the pool. They also have lovely bungalows. Very good price. On the Sunday following Anzac Day we were all quite... More
