Felix River Kwai Resort was a very nice place to stay. I only stayed for a day but enjoyed my morning stroll around the complex. It is a beautiful area and loved taking in the scenery around the hotel. My only regret was that I wasn't able to take a bike ride around the area, as we were leaving the... More

One of my fondest memories of Thailand staying at this hotel a few years back. Beautiful location right near to the bridge over the Kwai but nestled back within lovely and natural surroundings. Pools were simply gorgeous and most of the times we used them we had them all to ourselves. It was a nice and peaceful place. It was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with girlfriend, river view ground floor room which was a good size with French doors out to the river only 20 feet away.. The service was fantastic, very polite and friendly. What lets this hotel down is that it is just looking so tired, items that should have been replaced just haven't been.. At one... More

Fantastic location, river front with great views of the river kwai bridge which is a short and pleasant walk away. The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Food is ok but service is slow - the buffet is the way to go given a choice. Breakfast is good. The kids pool is great. And there is a river side lap pool... More

Stayed for 3 nights in April. Very quiet hotel which surprised us as it was a big hotel but didn't seem remotely full. The grounds were beautiful as was the swimming pool. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the River Kwai and it was beautiful. All you could hear about the peace and quiet were the sounds... More

We arrived at the Felix River Kwai Resort at night and at night the hotel looks a lot better than in the daylight. This hotel needs a lot of work. I really don't think anything has been upgraded since 1978 and the entire place looks like an episode of Fantasy Island. The drainage and the buildings themselves need major overhauls.... More

We stayed here one night to attend the Anzac Day Dawn Service at Hellfire Pass. The hotel is located by the river and has beautiful grounds with two swimming pools. We were greeted at Reception by friendly staff who quickly arranged and escorted us to our rooms. The trek to the room is not easily accomplished with a few stairs... More

Stayed only one night here as part of our tour of Thailand. Arrived in the dark so did not see the lovely riverside setting until next morning before we moved on. The room we had was on the 3 floor and the overall impression was that it was a bit tired. We could not go on to the balcony at... More

I recently stayed here after a member of my family booked us a night here as part of my 9 day trip to Thailand. I hadn't seen the hotel until I walked towards the entrance on the morning of my stay. The first thing I said was, "How beautiful." It ticked all of my Thai expectations. A stones throw away... More

We stayed in this hotel for (initally) 4nights, the hotel is outdated but has a beautifull garden. The rooms need a facelift, bathrooms are very old. The people are friendly but the Chef should be fired. We live in Thailand and liked the opportunity to eat some western food, the lunch was Ok but dinner was a complete disaster if... More
