The hotel has a superb location, on the river, overlooking the bridge. The grounds are wonderful - lovely garden with two swimming pools and hotel buildings spread over the whole terrain. Nice walkway along the river. The rooms, however, are in desperate need of refurbishment. They are clean and maintained, but look and feel old. Also, not enough electric sockets... More

We took a large school group to the hotel and at the price, it is very good value for money, but I would only consider paying a 3 Star price for this resort at this point in time. The hotel has a pool and lots of space for children to play. The grounds are stunning and the view of the... More

This hotel may have been a jewel when it was built, but it is old and in need of some TLC. Many people in my tour group complained of no hot water and has to change rooms. My hot water worked, but there were questionable stains on the walls and they only give you one key. I stayed one night,... More

We have stayed at this hotel over the past 7 years and watch her decline to the point we won't stay again. The rooms are now tired and the bathrooms need a serious upgrade. We had no hot water, a leaking toilet, safe not working right, the aircon was not working well either. Add to this poor service at the... More

At one time this may have been a 4 star hotel, but now seems to be a shell of any former glory. The rooms are in desperate need of updating and all the fixtures are old and corroding. The main pool is large and looks beautiful, but on closer inception is in major need of cleaning. The water is clean... More

This very big hotel seems peaceful regardless of it's size, and the gardens and grounds are stunning, the pool beautiful, however the rooms could do,with a lick of paint. The staff were extremely efficient, and breakfast buffet abounding with choice, even if the assortment of egg dishes were hard to find! I would stay again if I could get a... More

This hotel must have been beautiful when it was first built. Such a shame it's not so good now. A full restoration program needs to be implemented to restore it to it's former glory. We would discourage anyone from staying in it's current state. Hard to find anything for breakfast & what is available is stone cold because most burners... More

Rooms in desperate need of remodeling. The bathroom had ants galore parading on the sink/vanity combination. The hotel grounds were nice, since close to Kwai River. Stayed overnight after touring Kanchanaburi.

Beautiful hotel wth lovely gardens and a sprawling lagoon pool with a swim up bar. But there are a few maintenance issues and the rooms are probably due for a refurbishment. The lagoon pool was gorgeous and perfect for cooling off after a hot trek around all of the sights in the area. The breakfast was fine with lots of... More

I visited here for company's new year party. It's calm place near Kwai river bridge. If you get the right room position, you will see the Kwai river scene from balcony. For hotel garden, it was looked after well. There's a lot of place to take picture. But I didn't impress about room condition. First, hot water doesn't work. It's... More
