Stayed on grouptour. As is often the case the public spaces of the hotel are nice enough but the rooms are dated, with a lot of things not working but big. Did not use pool. The breakfast buffet was good. Wouls not stay again.

I have been coming to this hotel for a decade. I agree that rooms may need update. But what made up for it is the large side of the rooms all with large balcony. If you stay in a room with river view, you will not be spending much time inside. We stayed on the balcony well into late nights!... More

The resort is located at the river kwai and is about 100mtr from the river kwai bridge. You can walk from the hotel to the bridge, it is not very far. Cross over the bridge and u can go to the other side where they have good river side restaurants and few places to buy jewelry, tshirts etc. Try the... More

A very nice relaxing hotel, the staff were friendly and the pool was great. An easy walk into town over the River Kwai Bridge. The food was good, we had a smorgasbord on our first night and there was plenty of food as we had travelled 7 hours and didn't arrive until late so they had it all prepared for... More

Walking into the Felix River Kwai I was in awe! It's beautiful! There are twinkly lights and fish ponds--but once I got into the room I was a bit disappointed. They are very dated!! Everything was worn and old and the room had a moldy smell to it. We didn't have hot water and it took forever for the room... More

Pros: Value for money, good breakfast, beautiful surrounding, beautiful location, nice pool and nice friendly staff, close to river kwai bridge.. Cons: Old construction, Furnitrue getting old, not easy to locate. I got room on third floor going up down with little kid was challenge, but they allowed me to change it. In case it is fully booked this could... More

Great hotel with a wonderful buffet, very nice rooms and beautiful grounds with live fish ponds. My only concern was the absence of hot water early in the morning. Other than that, I would recommend this resort if one is staying in the area.

The Resort is right on the river and has a good view of the Bridge and nice gardens. Starting to show wear and tear ( slates missing around pool ; some paths missing tiles or uneven . There was a lack of maintenance - algae on the pool walls and floor and some of the missing slate was in the... More

When I went to use the gym pre-breakfast, I was confronted by the sight of a morbidly obese falang enveloping an exercycle, with a packet of cigarettes propped up on an adjacent bench - his apparent reward for 10 minutes of sweaty wheezing. His 2 young daughters were using the decrepit 90's era exercise machines as an adventure playground. This... More
