We booked this hotel on the day in Kanchanaburi having looked round a few other pretty horrible places and this one was a lot better. This one was 500 baht per night, so a little more expensive than some other places, but you get a TV and AC and a hot shower. The room was clean, but looked a little... More

I came across this guest house randomly, and decided to stay because of its peaceful gardens are private rooms tucked away from the busy streets of kanchanaburi. This staff were excellent in answering any questions or concerns, the mattress was a little firm, but tolerable, the washroom was a little dirty, but still tolerable. This only thing I did not... This place is fantastic. located centrally, close to everything and although it is on a busy street the rooms are nice and quiet. the rooms are located behind a beautiful garden. There are lounge chairs to relax and read a book or soak up some sun. Beds are comfortable and the food here is amazing. The staff is so friendly... More

This guesthouse is on the busy main street near all the bars and cafes, yet the rooms are set back off the road in pleasant gardens and so are very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are basic but clean, functional and lovely soft beds. The staff are helpful and polite, and there is free wifi in the main reception area.... More

the grounds were amazing and great location. the room had a powerful fan so was good. there were a load of lizards in the room and kept scaring me at night. and had a few mini cockroaches and loads of red ants - got a bit bitten to death. but other than that it was a great place to stay... More

We slept like logs on soft beds in an air conditioned room in a perfectly lively central location. The Main Street outside has great restaurants and bars in either direction. We could not get enough GREAT, reasonably priced,Thai food. Scooter rentals are cheap also but we had our own vehicle to get us to the Erawan water falls in one... More

Chitanun Gueshouse consists of several bungalows (you can choose between air-conditioning or fan). Even though it is quite normal to bargain over prices in Thailand, the owner has fixed prices (and really won’t go any lower). But only 450 bath a night (for a room with fan in the low season), is a quite reasonable price for this nice accommodation.... More

Chitanun Guest House is in fact a series of wooden huts set back from the main street and is very comfortable. The owner and staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Good shower and good air con. I would stay again if in the area.
