Located at the end of a soi,the entrance looks unfinished. The room was well equipped,TV with some foreign stations, fridge. Beds nice and firm. No view from the window. There are no services except bookings for minibuses. Outside the guest house are laundry and food outlets. This place is above backpacker standard so you don't get the noisy drunken visitors that... We liked Kanchanaburi so much we ended up staying 7 nights overall and Thai Guesthouse was the perfect place. The whole family is genuinely friendly from the moment you walk in. Even gave us a few bananas while we ate dinner at the cute outside sitting area. The rooms are a great size for the price and pretty clean. They... More

After 5 days in Busy Bangkok it was nice to find a bit of peace here at Thai Guest house, warmly greeted by the hosts we were shown to our room, nice and clean hallways and stairs, good sized room, complimentary waters and soap as well as free coffee all day. The hosts helped us book a tour for the... More

We enjoyed our stay here. The room is great for the cheap price that you pay. The room was a good size, and there was a good choice of channels to watch on the TV. There's free coffee making facilities, although it's a shame there's no tea available. There's also a microwave which could be handy. The staff were friendly,... More

Room was very clean. Air con worked very well. Youngm manager was great gave us a lift when we had to be at the bridge at a certain time. Enormous bed. TV had a ton (literally) of channels. Scooter and car rent round the corner. Regardless of the very cheap price this was just a very pleasant stay with little... More

Booked in advance and paid 750 baht for aircon double. Felt this was expensive - which, after reading 2 previous reviews about same room costing 650/700 baht, it seems it was. Maybe notbest to book in advance here as Kanchanaburi has loads of accommodation, much of which costs less than 500 baht.. Quiet location away from noisy main street and... More

Thai guesthouse is very well run by Note who goes the extra mile to help one. He speaks good English which does help us travelers a lot. It is well positioned to many attractions and transport to out of town attractions is no problem. The rooms are very spacious, clean and light. Bar fridge a bonus. Air con worked well.... More

We stayed in a double room with air-con for 650THB. The room is very big with some storage space as well as a table and a TV. The bed was comfortable and the clean. The room itself was also very clean with no cobwebs. The hotel is very close to a nearby supermarket and also to the main tourist street.... More

Pre-booked, and paid 700BHT for first night - A/C, double, etc. Not worth it. Switched to fan for nights 2-4, and kept same room, and paid 400BHT - definitely worth it. Clean, large double room, with good bathroom and hot water. Water bottles supplied. Fridge. Good linen. Good location - short walk around corner to main "walking street", 7-11 style... More

This was an amazing little hidden bit of calm on our crazy trip to thailand! me and my 2 friends spent 4 days here in july and it was amazing value for money. Staff were so friendly, made us food and offered us tea and fruit when we hung in the little outdoor space to use the wifi. Very clean... More
