River Kwai Botanic Garden resort is about 165 km from Bangkok and 32 km from Kanchanaburi city. Need own transportation to reach there or you can pre-arrange a taxi (500/one way) from the resort to pick you up from Kanchanaburi city in case if you are arriving Kanchanaburi by public transport. (ex. Bus, Van or train from Bangkok). The resort... More

we intended to stay for 4 nights in kanchanaburi and had booked this hotel due to its reviews. we made our way from bkk and had an awful experience getting to the hotel. when we rch kanchanaburi town, we realized that it was very far away out of the town center. we contacted the hotel but was annoyed that they... Nice resort with natural atmosphere. Most of room located on the river which make us feel calm and relax. Room facilities are fine and comfortable. Nice shower with hot water. Breakfast is also nice. Good location to go out for sight seeing tour. We are very impress with friendly staff and would like to go back again.

Stayed at the River Kwai Botanic Garden Resort during a 4-day Khwae Noi River kayak descent in March 2013. We booked rooms on the raft. With the exception of a family we were the sole guests in this resort. This resort was a bit more expensive, but in our opinion of less quality than the Phung Waan Resort. The raft... More

We stayed here in July 2012 and we loved the overall experience: The resort is outside the city of Kanchanaburi (I am quite sure the only way to get there is by car or individual busses) in a rural setting. The whole place has been built with attention to detail into the shore of the river kwai. You generally have... More

Stayed in 101 Riverside Bungalow – fantastic view over river. Only person in resort at time due to it being the rainy season. Room really nicely furnished. Very fast free WiFi throughout the resort. Dinner very average - beef tasted smoked and slightly off - possibly due to lack of visitors. Staff couldn't speak English. The resort is quite a... More
