We booked this place with short notice and at a reasonable price. The location, surrounding and facilities including the rooms are very nice and inviting. While we generally like to indulge and enjoy the offerings of the hotel facilities we were very disappointed about the pricing. A nearby Spa (Ficus) offered a 2 hours therapy for one third of the... This hotel is palatial, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. We had a Riverview room but it was on the ground floor and we couldn't' see past the garden shrubs to view the river. However, we found we didn't sit on our balcony very much so made no difference to our enjoyment... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in Oct. I would completely concur with the review below from "Slowing." Yes, the hotel was very palatial, and grand, but it lacked any kind of atmosphere or ambiance. There were hardly any guests, and it was quite isolated. Although the town is only a 10min car ride, the hotel opted to charge 350bht... More

We just stayed here one night in July. The buildings, a very large colonial style property, are beautiful and well maintained. The room was very spacious with a nice large balcony. The bed was uncomfortably hard and it was sparsely furnished. The pool area is very nice with a large pool, water features and a large shallow kids area. The... More

We booked a Jnr suite with extra bed and a Deluxe room. It was great that the hotel staff placed these rooms next to each other, but it meant my parents room had 2 single beds (we requested a large bed). My daughter's extra bed was set up very shortly after we checked in. The extra fold-away bed is very... More

Stayed here in June, 3 of us stayed and it felt to us as if we were the only guests in this colonial style resort, we had a brilliant swim in the huge swimming pool which we had all to ourselves - not that I can promise such isolation! We ate on the rice barge - again just the three... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was magnificent the rooms were big, clean & airy. The bed was very comfortable, the linen & towels snowy white & changed daily. Water was hot, plentiful & good pressure. It is set on the River Kwai & the grounds are large & well looked after the lawns beautifully manicured. A large,... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in September and we were disappointed with our experience. The hotel was isolated but advertised a hotel limousine and a shuttle bus. We asked about the advertised shuttle bus but we were directed to the overpriced resort bus. This was the only option and it was 350 baht for trip of about... More
