The hotel is on the river Kwai, and set in very spacious grounds. The room and bathroom were enormous, and beautifully laid out, overlooking the river. There were two balconies , each of which was large, and we spent time there watching the most beautifulo sunsets. It's a Colonial style hotel, in beautiful grounds, with an excellent swimming pool. The bar is... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it was very quiet during our stay possibly because it's some way out of town. The hotel is beautifully laid out and the public rooms are really lovely. The rooms are very large with a fantastic bathroom. We ate once in the international restaurant and the food was first class. The... More

We have spent 3 days at this hotel. We loved it. Excellent location. Well-mannered staff and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Had a room with an excellent view facing the river. Clean rooms and well maintained. We would definitely choose to stay here again. RECOMMENDED !!! Tks to all the staff.

We decided to repeat a journey that we last undertook 15 years ago and revisit the the war graves and the bridge over the, now renamed, river Kwai. Those are different subjects. Finding places to stay in the past was fairly easy as there were so few to choose from. Now there is a whole range of accommodation, from the... More

This resort is really lovely, by the river with a very nice tropical garden and swimming pool. The buildings look very much like old colonial buildings and the rooms are very well kept with nice hardwood floor and tiles, carved wood everywhere. Unfortunately, the service could really be improved. I have noticed mud in the hallways that stayed there for... More

Stayed here with family. The place is beautiful with nice pool, gym and grounds that stretch right to the river Kwai. Staff are nice as well. The thing that let it down was the poor food. As the place is quite isolated you don't have much option but to eat here unless you want to get a cab into town.... More

A beautiful colonial styled resort, situated on the banks of the Kwai River, with very helpful and attentive staff The buildings and grounds are very well maintained, and the large and clean pool was a joy to return to at the end of the day Rooms are very clean and quiet. The only downside is the resort is around 8 klm... More

I think this hotel is more aimed at the conference/wedding venue market, than Western Tourists. The hotel is exquisite. Absolutely stunning pool, gardens, lobby etc. Really majestic and tasteful. But there is nothing in walking distance, so you need to arrange transport into town to see the sights. The breakfast is very generous (coffee could be improved) and the staff... More
