The hotel is well located on the river shore and a bit outside of the city. There is a large well maintained park and the swimming pool is a plus. The breakfast buffet is acceptable although I would have appreciated more local fresh fruits offering. The coffee is almost undrinkable and I was a bit upset that the hotel is... More

Stayed here with my family just a couple of days back. The service was good particularly their F&B manager, Mr Preecha who spoke to us everyday to ensure that our stay there was good. My family including my 2 young children had an enjoyable stay. Will visit again.

A stay of 48 hours produced a feeling like we'd been there 2 weeks-totally relaxed. It is laid out so it seems there are very few rooms occupied. We checked in to a fully occupied Hotel and the lobby, the pool and grounds were empty. But the place was packed for breakfast the next morning. Luxurious salt water pool. Exquisite... More

Dheva Mantra is a lovely colonial style resort by the Kwai river. It is a bit away from city center so it is very quite, peaceful and relaxing. A lobby and breakfast room are nicely decorated with high ceiling. A bedroom is large with balcony and is very clean. The hotel has a good size swimming pool, a gym, a... More

We arrived for a 4 night stay at the Dheva Mantra on Loy Krathong evening and immediately took the suggestion of the hotel special dinner that evening. It took place on their rice barge restaurant moored on the Kwai river. The Thai food was a set dinner and not only varied, but Northern Thaila nd style and very tasty. There... More

Very nice and well maintained resort hotel which is located approx. 5 minutes outside Kanchanaburi directly at the banks of river Kwai. Beautiful garden with large and clean pool. Rooms are large and also very clean. Slight disadvantages are that beds are not very comfortable and aircondition is quite loud.

We booked this place with short notice and at a reasonable price. The location, surrounding and facilities including the rooms are very nice and inviting. While we generally like to indulge and enjoy the offerings of the hotel facilities we were very disappointed about the pricing. A nearby Spa (Ficus) offered a 2 hours therapy for one third of the... This hotel is palatial, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. We had a Riverview room but it was on the ground floor and we couldn't' see past the garden shrubs to view the river. However, we found we didn't sit on our balcony very much so made no difference to our enjoyment... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in Oct. I would completely concur with the review below from "Slowing." Yes, the hotel was very palatial, and grand, but it lacked any kind of atmosphere or ambiance. There were hardly any guests, and it was quite isolated. Although the town is only a 10min car ride, the hotel opted to charge 350bht... More
