Well priced and well located between Kwai Bridge and the Burma Railway Museum close to many of the attractions. Rooms are large, simple and well done with a walk in shower. There are gardens you can lounge in and a small swimming pool which looked nice although I didn't use it. The breakfast was superb and the staff on the... More

Exceptional value for money, very comfortable, friendly helpful staff, nice rooms, nice breakfast, lovely garden/pool aspect for most rooms. Convenient location - short walk to the bridge (1 km) and a longer but pleasant walk to the centre of the "action" (eg, around the train station, night market, war cemetery, railway museum, catholic church etc). Plenty of eating options nearby,... More

Stayed here for two night, wished it was longer. Hotel top value, clean, staff pleasant and great breakfast. Also lashings of hot water and great clean swimming pool. NO NEED TO PAY MORE ELSEWHERE. Close to bridge, restaurants, car and bike hire.

The room was very tidy, with one large window facing the garden and the pool. The hotel is close to the bridge on the river Kwai but pretty far from the center of Kanchanaburi. However, Sabai@Kan is located at the end of a lively street with pubs, restaurant and convenience stores, so you probably won't need transports for catching a... More

I have stayed in Kanchanaburi many times, usually at the River Kwai Hotel which is getting a bit tired despite recent refurb's. Booked a week here at the last minute and was massively impressed. Excellent value, very helpful and friendly staff (Special mention to Kuhn Apple on reception who was a complete superstar). Rooms were spotless, breakfasts lovely with plenty... More

This is a fantastic place, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Excellent value-for-money. The rooms are great - very clean and modern with all the facilities you need. Very large and comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. Great location, super staff, lovely pool and gardens. So nice to come back to Sabai after a day sitting on the back... More

This is not a fancy resort and is quite basic / rustic which gives it a relaxed, chilled out feel and we felt right at home. All the staff we encountered were all welcoming and friendly. It is 10 walk to the Bridge over the River Kwai. The rooms are basic, but clean and there is a safety deposit box.... More

After we arrived at the train station we walked to the centre to drink a cup of coffee. After this we took a tuktuk to go to our resort. The guy was not speaking any english. But the name of the hotel will most of the time do. So when arriving the manager of the hotel told us that we... More
