Stayed here with friends to visit the war graves, bridge and Hellfire Pass. My friend always stays here and I can see why. The hotel is ideally situated for the above visits. The bridge and graves are in opposite directions but both are walkable or the hotel will call you a Tuk which is very cheap. The local bars are only... More

Lovely place to stay, large rooms, nice garden and pool. Apple, Mint and other staff very knowledgeable and helpful. We had booked in for 3 nights ended up staying for another 3! Central area for day trips.

Super stay at this small, quiet and relaxing hotel. Very professional and friendly check- in with front desk staff possessing a good grasp of English. They were very helpful with travel advice and arranging a taxi to Erawan for us. Regarding the room, it was ground floor with bay windows leading onto a lovely inner garden which was really well-... I only staid one night in this hotel. The room was simple but clean and the garden beautifull. The service was very good and the staff very helpfull. A medium size swimming pool is refreshing during hot days. Simple but good breakfeast. Very good for the price. I will come back for sure.

We came to kanchanaburi to see the bridge over the river Kwai and decided to stay at the saba@kan resort. The resort is a little gem only 800m to the bridge and many restaurants and markets also a good place to venture out from to see the hellfire pass

This is a nice property with friendly & knowledgeable staff. It is over two levels with ONLY stair access, and a restaurant and pool on the lower level. Quiet gardens with a nice pool. Breakfast offered good quality & variety for the star level of the property. Close to the bridge, but a bit out of town. Disappointed to not... More

A very nice little resort - that made a very good start on our vacation. The staff was very helpfull, rooms nice (stayed in groundfloor trippleroom) and location in a good spot within walking distance to the bridge (10-15 min) The pool is small, but clean and allows you to cool of... Restaurants to be found in the street in... More

We had come to this area to visit the Burma Railway sites and were pleased to stop at a comfortable hotel where we could have a swim in the small, clean pool then sit in the garden and enjoy our G&Ts...albeit with mosquito/insect protection in place. The rooms were equipped with clean linen and were large, clean, each with their own little... More

There were 4 of us who booked in for 6 nights and had the most wonderful stay. We were greeted by a number of staff, all who's English was really good which was helpful. One of the party had a broken foot and her leg was in a moon boot so getting around was a bit difficult. The owners son... More

On my first return to 'kwai' in four years I had considered returning to apples retreat because of its riverside location and the rapport i had with the staff, but good reviews and the lure of a pool in what can be a hot and humid locale made me decide to try sabai@kan. Good choice. First pleasant surprise is that... More
