This is not a fancy resort and is quite basic / rustic which gives it a relaxed, chilled out feel and we felt right at home. All the staff we encountered were all welcoming and friendly. It is 10 walk to the Bridge over the River Kwai. The rooms are basic, but clean and there is a safety deposit box.... More

After we arrived at the train station we walked to the centre to drink a cup of coffee. After this we took a tuktuk to go to our resort. The guy was not speaking any english. But the name of the hotel will most of the time do. So when arriving the manager of the hotel told us that we... More

On a spur of the moment decision my partner and I decided to change hotels to this beautiful little guest house. For half the price of an unbearable, lonely and isolating hotel we WERE staying at, we had the following experience at this beautiful guest house... a warm welcome with reception staff who went out of their way to make... This is a little gem. The hotel is quite rightly described as a "boutique" hotel, it is small, excellently run and ideally placed in a quiet part of the city. Worth paying the bit extra for downstairs beside the excellent swimming pool and tranquil gardens. It is walking distance from the Rver Kwai bridge and all the restaurants on the... More

Beautiful grounds. 10mins walk to the bridge and a couple of restaurants - towards the right. Meat and cheese right opposite for good value. So worth it to pay a little more for the patio rooms on the ground floor. Spent most of my time relaxing on the patio. Very clean and simple but good breakfast. There nothing much to... More

We arrived in Kanchanaburi by minivan which was kindly arranged by the guest house we'd just departed in Ayutthaya. Check in was quick and friendly and we were shown to our room. We were delighted to see that the room was exactly as described in the website pictures (we had booked directly through the official website). We had beautiful floor... More

Sabai @ Kan is a great place to stay. I wasn't sure about kanchanaburi on the whole as it seems a bit disjointed but this guesthouse was very nice. Friendly and helpful staff, the swimming pool is a lovely extra after a long day of site seeing. It is a short walk to the bridge and about 10 minutes into... More

This was a great hotel, We arrived to an amazingly friendly welcome and this friendliness from the staff, also staff spoke English very well. Fantastic value for money and only a short walk to the bridge and to bars or shops. Rooms were very comfortable and the garden is nice to sit outside and relax, Would definately stay here again.

Small hotel with excellent stay experience . Breakfast is tasty . Wifi provided in the room. I like the small garden with swimming pool in the hotel. Enjoyed their aroma therapy massage. Location of the hotel is great quite near to the death railway.

This was a great little hotel, We arrived to an amazingly friendly welcome and this friendliness from the staff continued for our entire stay. Value for money was excellent, our rate included breakfast, we booked directly thru the hotel. Rooms were a little older but comfortable beds, good aircon, plenty of hot water in the shower, small bar fridge, pool... More
