The rooms are spacious and clean, located on huts which float on the river Kwai. So far so good....but you have to eat there also and to our big surprise some guests besides us apparently had asked for an ash-tray because that was being put on their table and they started smoking and their smoke drifted over table whilst dining.... The pictures of this resort look amazing however they don't really reflect the how tired the rooms really are which is too bad because the resort has so much potential that just isn't realized. So at the end of the day we'd stay here again but here are the pros and cons..worst first. 1. The dining-room experience is hit or... More

there are various raft resorts provided in Kanchanaburi, but this resort is one of the most popular. it was kinda hard to get the reservation, especially on the weekends, except you make it 1-2 months in advance. When i arrived there , I had no doubt why it's always full. the resort is situated in a good location, you didnt... More

This is a great place to get away from it all. The rooms are a good size with most things you need (I survived without a hair drier for a few days!), with a great veranda to sit and watch the river go by. (The beds are VERY hard, even by Thai standards, by the way!) When the longtails go... More

Admittedly I didn't realise there were two sets of rafts in Nam Tok and this caused some confusion in getting to the right place. I believed we were staying in rafts with no electricity so to have that was a bonus. A lot of what Davidh says is correct. No safe, tv, tea and coffee, soap. And yes there are... More

It might be okay if you know what you are getting. What you will get is a great location, no hot water in the sink, no kettle, no safe, no hair dryer, no plug in the wash hand basin, wafer thin walls so you can hear every word said next door, extremely limited food available, dirty slippers, no soap, holes... After having stayed in Bangkok for a couple of nights, arriving in Kanchanaburi and seeing this resort was very pleasant. It is unique in the way it is actually located on the river (like a houseboat), which we thought was nice. As for the staff, they were extraordinarily helpful and we couldn't have asked for better service. We experienced the... More

I took my parents here for a night when we did a trip through Kanchanaburi, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The views were just spectacular, it was so quiet and peaceful, and it was just so breathtaking that we were on the water! The staff are very friendly and the food at the restaurant is very good. I definitely recommend... More

This boutique resort is a slice of heaven on earth. Location is fantastic, peaceful and serene truly relaxing. Staff are very very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is great, well stocked mini bar and snacks. All tours are arranged at the resort using the best transport, nothing is too much trouble. No television, no internet, just peace and quiet.
