Not being previously familiar with he geography, we didn't fully comprehend that the resort was a 90 minute bus ride from Kanchanburi town. Once we visited, we learned that was the beauty of it. The resort's floating rooms were not really floating, as we visited in February, when the water level was really low. Sitting on the patio of your... More

It was a really good accomodation on river Kwai. It was clean, comfortable well equipped, etc. Only thing to mention regarding the room that on one of the unused bed was not clear with lot of hair on it. The hotel is almost in th middle of nowhere (far from Kanchanaburri), but its restaurant is good, tasty and not expensive... More

We spent 3 lovely days at the resort in Feb 2015. We just loved this small boutique hotel. First of all, the location is very beautiful. Old bridge, nice garden small and charming floating rooms & main building. The place is well run with very nice and capable staff. The rooms are nice, made from dark wood with nice basic... More

This is really one of the best places i have stayed in my many years of travelling, your room is actually on a raft on the river Kwai, the place is secluded and mostly very quiet, the food in the restaurant is very good and the staff definitely try their hardest to accommodate your needs. this place is great for... a very romantic place with a view over the river Kwai and an old suspension bridge. The rather spacious rooms on the raft are well designed and have a big window and a outside space floating just above the waterline. The food in the restaurant could be improved but the location and well maintained garden make up for it many times... The most magical place I have ever stayed. The raft rooms are to die for. I have to say that there is not to much insulation so there is a noise factor where especially when there are unruly children you hear everything. Other than that the tranquillity and the setting surpass all that is negative. The lapping of the water,... More

Beautiful floating hardwood bungalows. It was truly magical experience to stay here. The whole riverside garden and raft rooms are enchantingly beautiful. There is very poor soundproofing; rooms could do with a thorough clean; and a little bit more maintenance. The breakfast is rather stingy and staff not very friendly. Despite these shortcomings highly recommended! I had a great time... More

We travelled up on the train from Bangkok to Nam Tok, which, whilst picturesque and thought provoking, took 6 hours. It shortened our stay which was disappointing as the hotel, staff, service and great value for money meant we `sold ourselves short'. We need more time to see this wonderful area as there is so much to see and do... More

The locatio is good, all room float on the river. We love to sit on bamboo in front of the room and put legs into the river. The river so clear. But we got some problem about noise from other rooms because the wall is the same with the next room so we can hear everything they said. So it's... More

Very warm welcome from polite and plesent staff. Room was clean and spacious. took a raft down the river which was kind of different and enjoyable, and the food at the restaurant was to a very good standard. only a couple of issues. Could do with a mirror by the sink. And the water too the showers keeps cutting off.... More
