This trip came as a part of our trip to the river Kwai tour..my husband and I had pre decided not to take the elephant ride but just walk along with the elephants..on reaching there we were really put off by the poor conditions the animals had to endure..most of them are so under fed,,they looked old and weak and... More

We visited mid morning and there were no queues The camp is very clean and the elephants are well kept The price for a 30 minute ride is about 12 gbp and once your about half way round your asked by the mahoot to buy some souvenir jewellry to help with "food" costs these are expensive so expect to spend... More
