I stayed here as part of a large group - so room rate was very good. The location is excellent for visiting the famed (reconstructed) Bridge on the River Kwai - less than 10 mins walk away and the Allied and Japanese memorials/museums. Right on the river the restaurant/bar did struggle to cope with our group (of 80), but apart... More

We stayed at River Kwai Bridge Resort for 3 nights on our stay in Kanchanaburi. The place is lovely and quiet. We stayed in one of their hotel rooms rather than a bungalow. I would probably recommend the bungalow if you're going to be staying there longer. The front desk staff were not overly friendly, but when we had a... More

We stayed for two nights here and from the beginning there was very little of a welcome to guests. At check-in the attitude was as if we were a bother to the staff and similarly again at check out. There was very little assistance in the way of local transport, phone calls or contacting tour companies. This was quite a... More

we stayed to visit a relative's war grave at Chung Kai cemetery. Resort was clean and comfortable, if in need of a bit of renovation. The terrace restaurant looks out onto the river and the bridge, with a temple nearby. We really enjoyed our evening meals, freshly cooked Thai curries! Breakfast was ok, and for the price I wouldn't expect... More

I read the TA reviews on this place and the one thing they raved about was the excellent WiFi...well something must have happened before or during my trip as the WiFi was shocking. Continually dropping out and then unable to reconnect. This was my only source of contact with home so was very frustrating. The room was ok, I can... More

We stayed for three nights here prior to travelling back to Bangkok. The rooms were small & basic which I can cope with. However the floor was dirty despite aparently being cleaned daily. The ledge in the shower and the curtain were filthy...not what you would expect for approximately £30 a night. The pool area was ok although it is... More

We moved here because our previous hotel was fully booked after 3 night stay, For the price I think you can get better closer to town. We paid 1500 baht which in my eyes is expensive for 4 walls and a basic shower room. We moved from good time resort 2 minutes down the road, I would recommend good time... More

My cousin and I rented a small bungalow room with two twin beds. It was clean and very comfortable - unfussy. The pool looked good and breakfast was truly excellent right on the river bank. Access to the town was a brief walk. Excellent value as i like quiet and modest. Good internet access and friendly staff.

Nice comfortable and affordable. Has a nice ambience about it. Some small things need tweaking but all in all a really nice relaxing place. Brekky is a bit average but remember you are not paying a fortune to stay there. Staff were very helpful. Good parking and walking distance to most things.

We recently stayed at this resort and considering the cost of accommodation with breakfast we weren't expecting luxury. We were travelling with friends so we decided we would go with two bungalows. Our friends bungalow was clean but had a broken light which was fixed quickly. But our bungalow still had the dirty towels on the floor from previous guest.... More
