Very pleasant resort with helpful staff and well priced and good restaurant food. The hotel is located right on the River Quai and consists of small semi detached and detach bungalows as well a two storey block small block of rooms. The bungalows are arranged on either side of a small road leading down to the river and restaurant. There... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of April. The room was great for the money, staff were good too. The restaurant has an excellent view of the legendary bridge over the Kwai. Breakfast was reasonable, dinner wasn't bad either, not sure about the frog curry though, too many bones! 😃 You can walk to the bridge in... More

We stayed in the bugalows, rooms are clean and a good size. Air con efficient and quiet when running. Swimming pool great for kids. Restaurant serves good food, but wear long trousers as there are many mosquitoes.

The resort is lovely and they make you really feel the love. We arrived after the Elephant Bamboo Trekking tour and were so pleased and welcomed with open arms. You won't be sorry for visiting the country side.

The hotel itself is quite ok for the money - clean rooms, nice grounds, handy location to the bridge and other attractions. We booked a Riverview Room which indeed has a very of the river certainly not riverfront though. The main thing reason why I won't use this hotel again is the restaurant staff were just strange and unhelpful. After... More

I stayed here as part of a large group - so room rate was very good. The location is excellent for visiting the famed (reconstructed) Bridge on the River Kwai - less than 10 mins walk away and the Allied and Japanese memorials/museums. Right on the river the restaurant/bar did struggle to cope with our group (of 80), but apart... More

We stayed at River Kwai Bridge Resort for 3 nights on our stay in Kanchanaburi. The place is lovely and quiet. We stayed in one of their hotel rooms rather than a bungalow. I would probably recommend the bungalow if you're going to be staying there longer. The front desk staff were not overly friendly, but when we had a... More

We stayed for two nights here and from the beginning there was very little of a welcome to guests. At check-in the attitude was as if we were a bother to the staff and similarly again at check out. There was very little assistance in the way of local transport, phone calls or contacting tour companies. This was quite a... More

we stayed to visit a relative's war grave at Chung Kai cemetery. Resort was clean and comfortable, if in need of a bit of renovation. The terrace restaurant looks out onto the river and the bridge, with a temple nearby. We really enjoyed our evening meals, freshly cooked Thai curries! Breakfast was ok, and for the price I wouldn't expect... More

I read the TA reviews on this place and the one thing they raved about was the excellent WiFi...well something must have happened before or during my trip as the WiFi was shocking. Continually dropping out and then unable to reconnect. This was my only source of contact with home so was very frustrating. The room was ok, I can... More
