First Impressions great location, parking under cover for our van. Suitable for couples and family's, has modern units and Villas, walking distance to the Bridge and markets also a great choice of local restaurants and massage all you need if you are staying one or two nights or even a week. We are in a villa very comfortable and roomy... More

We stayed here in June 2015 and returned in November 2015. This review is for November. We booked a bungalow which looked really nice, the previous booking was the condo style rooms prior to the reception. I could not believe how shabby these rooms were, I would put these rooms at 1*. The room was horrendous. We asked to stay... More

This hotel is living on it's location, and that's about it. The grounds and layout are lovely and the location is brilliant for the river and is only a short walk to the bridge. Buffet breakfast was OK, nothing to write home about though. The villa room we had was awful, we didn't like it at all. The bed was... More

Tired after a long drive and having taken in the cemetery, bridge and POW museum, we just wanted a place to crash with a pool for a little chill out swim. This was the first one we found and got ourselves a room in a semi detached bungalow. No cars and motorbikes allowed, a sign says, witch promised for a... More

The first time we stayed here we had a bungalow and they are preferable to the rooms. That said the room was nice only the bathroom was old and tired. Some of the reception staff were less than helpful.. The guy running the riverside bar was really nice on both visits and it is a fantastic spot to watch the... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay as part of an organised group tour. Quaint bungalow style accommodation. Not flash, but clean, comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting by the river. We found the staff to be friendly (despite other reviewers reporting otherwise) including a welcome drink on arrival and some complimentary bottled water in the room. The restaurant overlooks the... The bungalow was ok, very dark but Ok for a dated place. The real disappointing aspect was the staff. They should just close the restaurant as the staff were useless and not interested in serving. We left without eating after a bad reception and being handed a tattered menu and being told items not available after enquiring about them, including... More

Found this to be a quiet resort about a 10 minute walk to the Bridge. Clean and comfortable resort style rooms, with a small veranda to sit on. Nice swimming pool. AirCon and WiFi worked well in the room, but no room safe. Covered parking for cars. The restaurant is by the river with a good view of the bridge... More

Stayed here for 4 days researching family history WW2. At check we we asked for a local map or information but they did not supply this. Room was good size but not too clean. Apart from one friendly barman we were never greeted or talked to. Breakfast, restarant and reception staff were too busy doing very little and just frowned... More

Most reviews refer to the bungalows spread throughout a quite nice garden. However, I was given an average room in an apartment block. The bed was fine, and a kettle and small minibar were provided. TV reception was poor. The shower cubicle had once had a sliding door; the fittings are there, but no door. Subsequently, water covers the bathroom... More
