We stayed at the Thai garden inn for 10 days. We really felt at home here. Our kids could play with the dog or the cats. The owners organized a barbecue for my husbands 30th birthday. The food was so great! The staff will help you in any way that they can. When we go to Kanchanburi we will go... More

Whole place needs a total overhaul...Grounds are in a shambles. Pool is green and staff swam in it with their work clothes on, not to sanitary. Don't know how this one got a four star... the cabins are next to a farm so the odors can be a little overwhelming at times. The rooms however are old but clean. Could... More

Thank you for your review. I have to disagree that our whole place requires an overhaul. We take pride in continual maintenance and upgrade of our property and this can be seen from many reviews. Just as recent as a month ago, we upgraded our restuarant, 2 bedroom house and one family bungalow with a wheelchair friendly entrance. Our swimming... More

Stayed here mid January and what a relaxing place it is set, in its own grounds with about a dozen bungalows. Our bungalow was comfortable enough with only one drawback the shower! Not one of the best but once we got the hang of it we managed okay. The staff were great as was the food. Bike hire is cheap... More

Dear redchad Thank you for taking your time to share your experience of your stay with us in Tripadvisor. On the matter of the mini bus, we are very sorry for it. We have talked with the manager on the other side and he, too, cannot offer any explanation of the delay. It was extremely lucky you did not have... More

I stayed here in January 2015 for 1 night with my son over from university. We'd spoent the day on the burma-siam railway and were pretty tired when we walked from the Kanchanburi railway station to the Garden Inn. In hindsight I reckon a tuk tuk ride wouldnhave ben better ! Had a very pleasant bugalow in the corner near... More

Dear James Thank you for taking your time to review our hotel and allowing others to share the experience you have had during your stay with us. In future if you do arrive at the River Kwai station, call us for a free pickup. We would be most happy to do that and save you the walking especially with luggage.... More

We got to the Thai Garden Inn and found out that they had over booked the bungalows... But no worries, the staff had already arraigned for a free upgrade to their two bedroom house! They were also very helpful when we rented a motorbike and organized transportation to the Erawan Water falls and back to Bangkok. I highly recommend this... More

Thank you for your review. Normally, our system keeps track of all bookings to ensure that we do not get overbooked. Unfortunately we had a high requests for extra nights from existing guests and our internet line was down, hence our availability was not updated correctly to our booking sites, thus resulting in a overbooking situation. But we are very... More

Just stayed 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The garden is an exceedingly delightful place to relax, feel a bit out of the way while still being close to everything. The rooms are clean and comfy. This is my 6-8th ish hotel in Thailand, and I think this bed is the best I've been in (at 1.94m it's often problematic.)... More

Thank you for your great review. I fully agree that the dogs at the top of the lane can be a nuisance at times. But good to say that we have had no incidents with the dogs other than noisy barking at times. Good to hear that you have had a great stay with us and we certainly look forward... More

Stayed for two nights and enjoyed it so much decided to stay for three more nights. Rooms clean, spacious and all in a lovely garden setting with a balcony, restaurant well worth eating at, good food at a good price in a great setting. The pool at the resort was a nice bonus, a good size for a swim and... More

Thank you for your review. And we actually have 4 dogs and 3 cats. The crazy one is our youngest girl. She behaves like a little monkey and is certainly very adorable. On the cold shower, let us know the next time. It seems the heater trips itself every now and then and we just have to press the reset... More

We stayed 2 nights here on our honeymoon and wish we'd stayed more! The staff were very polite and helpful - we hired a motorbike on our first day and the staff went through everything with us first and showed us a map etc. Breakfast was simple but plenty of choice, and very tasty! The bar had a pool table... More

We really liked this place. The bungalows are very sweet. The air con was good. Pool was nice size & well maintained. We liked the DVD lounge & reading area they have, that was a lovely touch. We missed not having a TV in the room though. A bit far out, if like us you prefer to walk rather than... More

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments and would like to share our viewpoint. We are glad you liked our DVD lounge and reading area. We set the areas because we decided not to put any TVs in the standard bungalows. However all our family bungalows and TGI House do have TVs. Many people are mistaken about our... More

Booked a twin room for my teenage son and myself online, but when we arrived we were given a double room.
