Great park, great pool, nice river view. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night... would have been okay for more. 100 meters up river I saw local children swimming in the river... so swimming in the river IS possible.

Hmmm where to start. first things first, where it says city center in the ad what they really mean is a 40 km/500 baht cab ride if you can get one. arrival at the "resort" front office staff have a very limited command of the english language and for some unknown reason you have to wait 5 minutes please....the rooms... I stayed here for 1 night in a big tent. it's a hiso tent I think as all facilities are prepared for your convenience. Air Conditioners, safe box, twin beds, refridge, towels and hair dryer. The bathroom is outside and u need a short walk to access. A lot of insects in the night as it's located in a jungle,... More

The location looks very nice and the pool was among the more beautiful ones I seen on my trip. The food was nice enough and I don't really mind that the staff don't really speak English because that's mostly the case outside the bigger cities. I'm not sure if the place provided free Wi-Fi... if it did that was a... More

and a nice pool were the two positives !! Of the negatives, some 35 km and a half hour drive from Kanchanaburi City Centre. Our "Superior" room was in dire need of repainting and obviously well-used,bathroom décor was extremely shabby. The Staff were polite but NOT friendly or welcoming, less attention to playing with their telephones and more attention to customer service would... More

The previous reviews are mixed but thought the hotel was a solid choice. It appears that the resort is going through some sort of modernization. Not sure how far the modernization will go. The lay out of the property is really neat and it has several accommodations options that range from Tent (with air con) to Pool villa. We stayed... More

We went with a group of friends and stayed for 3 nights over the New Year holiday. It is another typical golf resort that is quite out of the way. We don't play golf so we can't quite comment on the quality of the course. But for those that played in our group they seemed to be happy with the... More

Maybe there exist another Mida Resort as the one we have been in Kanchanaburi, but our was not in the middle of the jungle. True is that it was isolated and going out for dinner was necessary a taxi drive. As we were tired we opted to stay in the hotel. It is at the border of the river and... More

The resort is quite far from any civilisation. The resort can be divided in two parts: the first part contains abandoned(?) holiday houses and the second part is the actual resort as shown in the pictures. The staff barely speaks English and they first gave us a room in the bottom corner of the complex. The room had alot of... More

This family friendly resort is located on the river kwai. It is aboat 35 km from the city of kanchanaburi in a quite environment. They have 3 main buildings with in the middle a big swimmingpool. The have also a few camping-tents with airco and free wifi. The have a restaurant and also they rent out atv and bicycle.
