5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

we spent 4 nights at the camp and enjoyed every moment of the holiday: waking up in the misty forest with birds singing, having breakfast on a terrace overlooking the river, swimming in the natural pools at sunset and dining at the bbq under the stars. That's the perfect place for nature lovers and for families looking for adventure but... More

This is for anyone willing to try tent camping in VERY comfortable conditions (solid floor, solid private bathroom, comfortable beds, air con. etc.) with a wonderful outside dining experience in hte evening and plenty of fascinating and moving things to do and see around.

We totally loved Hintok. It is hard to explain, it is just pure charm, beauty and amazing nature plus the tents feel luxurious, integrated in nature, and super comfortable. The BBQ dinner under the stars also added to the charm and the food was outstanding. We fall in loved with the place and the amazing landscape of the river and... More

This place is fabulous. It's suitable for anyone who like to try different type of accommodation or wanna do camping but still need AC and electricity. I felt like Jane travelling with Dad in the camp to discover Tarzan. Inside the room got everything you need, except TV. But who would need it though! This resort is comfortable and beautiful.... Was there for 1 night, the location is not easy to find (google map sent us into the wrong direction) but it is very near to the landmarks we wanted to visit. Room was good for the price, overall relaxing. There were spaces between the tent (bedroom) and shower/toilet where they supposed to connect, thus people can actually see us... More

Had 2 nights whilst on a tour in the area. Food not much choice, have to eat outside. Breakfast useless. Our driver had to wait 20mins on our last day, whilst we tried to find someone who would check us out! Would not return.

Dear Nicola H, Thank you for the stay with us and sharing your opinions to other readers on Tripadvisor. Please rest assured that we take our guests feedback extremely seriously. Recently spent a night here as part of a 2 night package. Excellent stay, very relaxed, loved the natural spring by the river, the dawn cycle over the hanging bridge, the whole history of the area. Knowing it was a POW camp added to the atmosphere. Very clean comfortable tents.

We only spent one night but we had a great time. The tents are of good standard but we wouldn't describe at luxury. They were air conditioned, had hot showers but the standard was fairly basic. On the other hand the food was excellent, particularly the barbecue around the camp fire in the evening. Terrific service/people.

What an amazing place - right next to the river, swimming in a man made rock pool with a cocktail, then sleeping Glamping style with a private ensuite with the geckos. Surprisingly low number of mosquitoes for being so close to the water. The morning views were amazing, and pretty good breakfast options including a cook on hand to freshly... More
