We stayed here for two nights in July 2013. Traveling by train made the journey a real adventure from Bangkok. The tented camp offered exactly that, a lovely tent with full amenities such as shower, toilet, bed, AC, fly screen, sitting table and chairs. We took a taxi/van from the station to the camp which took approx 20 mins drive... More

Hintok River Camp was booked by our agent on our behalf and we stayed for just one night on our whistle-stop tour of Thailand! The staff were welcoming and we were more than satisfied with the 'camp'. Air con was an added bonus in the tent which was fairly large. The pools down by the river are down some fairly... More

The camping is done in style but what more do you need! Food, service and the fresh water pools are amazing, would go back again and again and again loved it, ride on free bikes to see the monks or just to look around the area, never had free mountain bikes before an added bonus

The Place of great Glamping or Camping whatever you name it. But its awesome. The Hintok Valley is popular for Aus, German and many other nations who's people work under Japanese in 2nd world war to build train. This Glamping is just below of its Valley at River Kwai. A place provide perfect comfy of bedding and a feeling of... More

How can you call this camping when you've got double beds and Aircon ?? Excellent experience including the fireside BBQ, excellent location shame about the pool but we weren't here long enough to want it that badly. The visit by the monks is a bit of a swizz , but do take the bikes and visit the temple.

This is the kind of camping you want to do. Each room is a raised platform with a canvas tent covering, but the room is air conditioned and each has its own bathroom and shower. Their nightly barbeque is pretty good, out in the open. But when it's 90 degrees out, a blazing bonfire is just redundant! They have a... More

The tented camp for the most part was fine. My main concern was the bathroom not being attached to the tent, and the top of the bathroom is not covered. In the morning I had a tree frog sitting on my toilet and leaves and bark covering the sink, not to mention the mosquitos. Having learned the next day of... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with our family which included two grandsons ages 3 and 7; we had one grandson sleeping in our tent as they only seem to provide one extra bed per tent. Not a problem and the boys were happy, particularly as bikes are provided to ride around the site but a pity that there are... More

We were on a tour and stayed here 2 nights after a couple of days in Bangkok. The location is beautiful and the river Kwai train trail is quite an experience: The tent formula is very comfortable, with airco and indoor shower. The sight at the river is beautiful; but the pool is nothing more than a large bath tub.... More

We spent two wonderful nights here in February. We arrived late afternoon at this place and our first impressions were WOW! The camp itself is located in the jungle next to the river Kwai. Don't worry about having to slum it as the African style tent have all the mod cons even aircon. After a very swift check in we... More
