Best location in Hua Hin. The hotels near the Center of town have the worst beach front - crowds, hawkers, horses and rocky and dangerous swimming but Sailom is on its own. Five minute cheap Baht 10 taxi to night market , so best of both worlds. Huge bedrooms like they don't make anymore. Free bottled water. TV galore. Very,... More

I remembered coming to the beach front restaurant for more than 2 decades. This time, I brought my American brother from high school for a taste and we weren't disappointed! Like many reviewer already mentioned, there is a range of Thai and Western food. Too bad that my friend doesn't like seafood that much. His philosophy is no head &... More

We were very pleased with Sailom, absolutely a great hotel choice! The room was spacious, clean and beautiful, maintenance every day. The restaurant was a bit worn, but the food was good. The beach outside the hotel was clean and nice. Even though it's a bit outside the city center there's no problem getting a tuk tuk from the hotel... More

Sailom Hotel was one of the very first hotel built in late 1970. When it was finished, it was the only property beside the old railway hotel. We stayed in the hotel once and enjoyed the clean wide beach in its immediate front. After these years, the property is aging like the 7 turtles in the pond in front of... More

Next to beach, same waiters for years.. Friendly service. Good range of Thai and western food. Did not stay in the hotel though. Looks a little unfashioned. Compared to the new hotels and eateries a few doors away.

I went August 2013 and to be honest it was a very average if that hotel. Staff were not all that friendly and very diffcicult to get them to help you or assist you in anyway. Pool was adequate and i guess when you're lying in the sun it's not too bad but in general it really wasn't anything special.... More

Sailom hotel seems to be old from the outside but it looks traditional Thai style in decoration. Room size is suitable and nice partial sea view. No bath tub and shaving set is in the bathroom. Hot/Cold water is difficult to control for keeping warm. Big bottle of drinking water(Nam-tip) is complimentary. Twin queen size beds are so comfy and... More

we did not stay at the hotel, but at a condo nearby. during our month stay, we ate often there and were not disappointed. food very good, prices reasonable, service friendly, music too loud. very clean, liked the sixties feeling of the hotel. to recommend!

Perhaps the best thing about the Sailom is its location right on the beach. The hotel is a Thai 60's style building (which I quite like) and mostly well maintained and generally clean (especially in the rooms and dining area). The prices are fairly competitive when compared with other beach front accommodation, but that's because it's older. If it wasn't... More

The Hotel is situated on the beach and the position is excellent. Unfortunately other things let it down. The rooms are ok big and spacious and beds very comfortable. The bathroom has a very big shower area but the water pressure is poor. Then you are squashed in to a small toilet and wash basin. The bathroom area is also... More
