Dolphin Bay Resort is perfect for a semi-secluded, relaxing getaway. I stayed in the upper floor room for 2 nights and 3 days in February 2009. I think the room was clean except the shower. It was very dirty which I had never seen that much dirty before from other hotels. The shower walls were very mouldy especially behind the shower curtain. This continues to be one of the best low cost beach resorts in Thailand. Really clean, really friendly. The location is very quiet. no traffic. nobody else on the huge beach. We stayed here in one of the 3 bed apartments and it was VAST. The kitchen is an added bonus although the restaurant is so cheap we didn't cook. This place is excellent value for money, particularly for a family with small children.
