Very nice and quiet place for relaxing after Bangkok. Large clean and well maintained rooms with safe. Good breakfast and excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. Pool and garden in good condition and beach just 20m away. Close to Sam Roi Yod national park, very quiet traffic for renting a motorcycle. Only minor problem is that their is no "nightlife" in... more

I have been resident in Thailand (Bangkok) for the past 5 years and make 1-2 weekend trips a month all over Thailand (i.e. over 100 different hotels of all categories in many places). I can definitively say that the Dolphin was the poorest experience I and a number of my friends (we were 17 people in total) have ever had.... more

Dolphin Bay Resort is perfect for a semi-secluded, relaxing getaway. It is located about 45 minutes away from the center of Hua Hin, so would not be ideal for anyone looking for excitement, partying, or shopping. However, we were looking for a hotel close to the Sam Roi Yod National Park, and Dolphin Bay is only a few kilometers away.... more

What a great hidden spot. A beach front resort in Thailand without the thousands of tourists. The little village is almost day-to-day Thai life with a few resorts on the beach rd. Went there with my wife for a relax after trekking in the Himalayas & was perfect. Nice laid back resort with great massages & nice food. Probably aimed... more

I stayed in the upper floor room for 2 nights and 3 days in February 2009. I think the room was clean except the shower. It was very dirty which I had never seen that much dirty before from other hotels. The shower walls were very mouldy especially behind the shower curtain. I'm not really happy with this at all.... more

This is a great hotel for children. There are two swimmingpools and a playground and plenty of space to run around. Staff is also very friendly to children. We enjoyed our stay here because our daughter liked it here, but if it would be just the two of us, I wouldn't go here. It's a big hotel and not very... more

This continues to be one of the best low cost beach resorts in Thailand. Really clean, really friendly. The location is very quiet. no traffic. nobody else on the huge beach. The room we had was great a two bedroom apartment with loads of room. The food is good and reasonably priced. The hotel also offers well priced Thai massages.... more

We stayed here in one of the 3 bed apartments and it was VAST. The kitchen is an added bonus although the restaurant is so cheap we didn't cook. The pool was good and there was another one right outside our front door. The beach wasn't brilliant and we were bitten by something while on there. The staff were friendly.... more

We stayed for 5 days at Dolphin Bay and thought it was excellent. The main attraction is the three pools, slides and other water features. This kept our kids busy for about 6 hours everyday. There were plenty of other kids there and immediate friendships were made. It has a mixture of visitors - some from overseas and some from... more

We booked through Sawadee website and trusted several positive reviews we found there and on TripAdvisor. They were right! This place is excellent value for money, particularly for a family with small children. The playground kept our kids happy for hour after hour and the beach is only a short walk through the resort itself. Me and my husband enjoyed... more
