After a nine hour flight we had a private chaffeur from Bangkok airport to resort. Driving time from Bangkok was 2 hours 40 minutes. We stayed in a one bedroom villa with pool in early January. If you want to chill out and relax in a private setting this is the place to be. You have your own garden patio area with pool, sun loungers and table and chairs. I had a traditional thai massage in the treatment rooms beside the lake....it was fabulous.... more

We stayed at Aka resort in Hua Hin for our honeymoon in Aug 07, when we booked it was a new resort so did not really know what to expect, although it did look great in pictures.
