Having read various reviews re this hotel I was slightly worried about this hotel. Yes you pay for it but it is a five star hotel so what do people expect. The hotel is located in the centre of Hua Hin and it is easy to walk anywhere: restaurants, shopping, markets.... The perfect setting, a colonial style Hotel, in a tropical garden with topiary animals, a calm and serene atmosphere to relax. Very close to the Royal town of Hua Hin with all the shops and restaurants at hand. You must go to the Pier at night for a meal the seafood is gorgeous. Cannot wait to go back! more

We had high hopes for this place because of the other Trip Adviser reviews. And although we had a really good time, it wasn't as good as other resorts we've stayed at in Thailand, in particular the Sala Samui. This place is atmosphere. It was a fun change of pace with old world elegance near a beautiful beach. The stuffy dress codes and rules put me out a little bit, but it was a small price to pay for such a good experience otherwise. I look forward to returning. more
